  1. Medical can be done at any facility designated by the Consulate.

Only the Consulate in Montreal adjudicates immigrant visas. Since you will be interviewing for a spousal visa, you will be interviewing in Montreal.

Thanks Ryan...just thot I'd ask if there was any other place to be interviewed. I guess I have to just plan on the extra expense for a 15min interview...seems unfair but this whole process is archaic...seems they make it difficult for us.

    Anyway, appreciate your help.

  2. This is my first forum experience...a bit about our journey first: I am Canadian from White Rock BC & married an American citizen a year & a half ago in the USA. We began our journey to have me move to the US permanently but still work in Canada every day....we live just across the border from each other. It has been a long frustrating journey as we did this ourselves...now I have finally sent my 'package' to the US Consulate in Montreal & am awaiting what is next. And further costs?

Can anyone out there help me? I have emailed the Consulate several times & they just tell me to submit my forms...which I have...what can I expect next? I think a medical & an interview? In Montreal? Is that the only option? I live thousands of miles away & am just over the border from Seattle or Vancouver is 30 mins away? All help is appreciated!
