Congratulations. I also was approved faster than I thought. I filed for my wife in July. So I'm hoping my wife will be here for New Year.

We used a lawyer, and I have to say my Lawyer is great, knew what he was doing, collected all the info sent out the package. Was approved at USCIS in 74 days. I'm very happy with the results so far.

Be glad your at CSC ours was approved in less than 3 months. My heart goes out to the Vermont filers. USCIS should really do something to even out the workload.

Approved yesterday 74 days after NOA1

On September 28, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN.

Service Center : California Service Center

Consulate : Dominican Republic

Marriage (if applicable): 2011-03-14

I-130 Sent : 2012-07-12

I-130 NOA1 : 2012-07-16

I-130 RFE :

I-130 RFE Sent :

I-130 Approved : 2012-09-28

Last night at 7:30 EST I checked the USCIS site it showed a update of 9/25/2012. Today I checked again. And now it shows the old status 7/16/2012. Has anyone else seen or encountered this issue??

Filed mine first week of July USCIS (CSC)received July 12 got NOA1 July 16th.
