This is my problem right now. We live in California and my husband's green card expires soon and so does his driver's license. They WILL NOT honor the immigration letter that extends his status for a year so in a few days he won't be able to drive. So frustrating! Called USCIS and told me to make an appointment with INFOPASS but there's nothing available. Said to keep checking everyday so we can get an appointment at the immigration office. Now we have to figure out how to get him to work.

Seven months after we started the K1 process my fiance had his interview yesterday in London and was approved! We couldn't have done it without the help of this site along with it's very helpful members. Now we can move on to the next chapter, getting married! Will post the review later on as soon as my fiance recovers from yesterdays stress, lol! All the best to you guys who are still in the process. Before you know it you will be posting "approved" pretty soon.

No need to tell them all your business. You're allowed to travel and visit anywhere you want. Just present your passport so they can stamp it as you would anyway.

Finally booked my flight to see my fiance in England next month, yay! My question is, when I go through immigration there, should I tell them that I'm there to visit him and let them know that we've filed for the K1? Thinking about just bringing the NOA1 and my ties/commitments here so they know I'm not planning to immigrate there. Thank you in advance for the input.

Hello everyone! I've recently sent off the K1 petition for my fiance who lives in England and we're both excited to be able to start our journey. I'm very fortunate to having found this site for support and information. Now we're both hoping that this process would go smoothly.
