  1. Make sure when you submit your AOS from the K1 you submit a copy of the APPROVED NOA2 stating you have been approved for the I129F. It sounds stupid but we sumbitted a photocopy of Lizbeth's I94 with the K1 stamp, a photocopy of the ACTUAL K1, and her K1 approval from the consulado in Juarez, Mexico and received a RFE for the I129F approval. Can you believe that???

    I guess USCIS does not understand that in order to get a K1 you need an approved I129F...anyway just a tip so you are not delayed.

  2. We went to the "blue" one on the other side of the street (and down a little) from the consulado. They did give us change...and Liz tells me we paid for everything in USD...so no pesos...sorry for the mixup on the other post.

    P.S. The quesadillas and cafe from the lady in the van across from the consulado are awesome!! She is the one on the microphone!!
