    what an experience today! from driving more than 3 hrs from iowa to st paul minnesota for my biometric. had problem with the car and all that. whats surprising is that the uscis immigration officer or head in that office offered and gave us a ride back to the car shop! isnt he so nice! thank God for that :)

    I just paid K1 and K2 visa fee today. the current us dollars rate of BPI bank is 42.82, if you convert it into peso its only 14,987. then the teller asked me to pay 15,050 each. so that means the 350 us dollars visa fee is not updated? just curious.

      prevailing exchange rate doesnt mean ontime peso-dollar exchange rate. i think just like in paying your medical fees at st. lukes, the prevailing exchange rate is provided by the USEM in a weekly basis.

    just spoke to an agent from manila embassy about the interview process,, she said i cant book for an interview yet even if i have cse number already.. she said we have to wait for notification from NVC before we can book for an interview..do we really have to wait for notification from NVC? or NVC will forward it to embassy..so confusing:(

      if you read experiences here, its not recommended to call usem when in inquiring about booking when you dont have the packet from usem yet. better do it on your own by paying your visa fee and schedule online. goodluck!
