Please any advise appreciated.REENTRY PERMIT,LEAVE after filing form AND COME BACK for fingerprints?

I won green card a year ago , last time was in a country last year in septmeber , i want to apply for reentry since im graduating and getting master degree , here what i want to do: fly here this september ,file reentry form, fly back home next day and come back for biometrics .

Has anybody done that ????

Call uscis 800 number again , i went through the same thing , i got my ead after 5 months !!!! I had two service requests with no results , i went to infopass appointment, which was a waste of time for me . Finally , i had enough and called uscis 800 number at least 10 times, talking to different people , once the lady even hang up on me , but be confident , talk calmly and ask for 2 nd level immigration officer when u call them , first u have to explain what kind a problem u have , then when they say ur request been made only a week ago or so , ask politely to talk to 2 nd level io. I had to talk to two of them , when finally they couldnt resist anymore lol good luck !!!!! All i can say those people on 2nd level do have power and able to resolve ur problem with two clicks , which was my case - it took him less than 30 sec to do what he did and within 4 days i had my ead .

Call again USCIS number and try to talk to 2 level officer , i had pending case for more over 130 days , called them at least 10 times before smb actually decided to help ( it was 2 level IO ) . Another option schedule Infopass .

Hello everybody , i need an advice .My relative is a green card holder ,he has been absent for 10 months because he is the student in Moscow and graduating next year, the problem is he will only be able to come to US for one week , i know if i apply I-131 re-entry form , i wouldnt get biometric appointment within a week , so the question is right before he actually flies here , can i file the form for him ? ( maybe 2 weeks in advance ) ?

P.S: I have a bad experience with local ASC , i know they wouldnt take his fingerprints without actual biometric letter.

Our son will be a student in Moscow for EIGHT years. He has a full scholarship for a doctorate degree. He will be a citizen after next year so it will not be an issue at all after that. So far he has been a student for four years, just got his bachelor's degree and has never had a question asked or an issue raised.

He has NEVER had a re-entry permit and has never needed one.

U will probably have to wait about 3 weeks , but there is no certain time for that , u should read the instruction to the form , its says if u want it expedite , u can actually write it on the envelope and insert two pre-paid envelopes etc , dont remember exactly , but insctruction explains it all . Yes, You can use it multiple times .

Hi , i have a question , when u have ur fingerprints taken , they put some red stamp on it , do u send copy of it back to USCIS ?

I just talked to the immigration office on 1-800 # , i have some mistakes in my biometric appointments, they send 3 for i-485 for different days even thou i already did them , so the officer said that i have to send the copies of notices and proove that FP were taken already back to where the FP Notice was send from . Any help?

I told you last time you asked this to just mention that you also have a I-765 pending when you go for whatever biometrics you had. Did you speak to the supervisor, or bring your NOA1 for the I-765? I have not seen anyone be rejected for biometrics for any application when they have an appointment. Did you ask nicely? WHen you called did you ask for a Tier 2 person?

i know i posted it before , thanks for replay again , i went there and asked the guy to take my i-765 as well and even brought NOA for i-765 , but they said since the letter doesnt exist you have to wait and come back again with the letter . I called USCIS and waited for a week and today i got my third i-485 app letter , called USCIS again and they cant help me unless 30 days passed.

Hi , i need help ! where is my i-765 biometric app letter? I just had my 3d I-485 biometric appoinment letters and no i-765 !

i-485 and I-765 forms received date - February,2

i-485 biometric letter appointment - June,29

[i-485 biometric letter received again with the same date , went there on June,29 had my fingerprints taken,they didint let me do fingerprints for I-765, since there is no letter for that, called USCIS on the same day , they said u will receive I-765 biometric letter by July,10.

Today is July,5 i received I-485 biometric letter AGAIN for July,27( even tho i just had it taken 7 days ago ) !!!! I called USCIS explained the situation, they said since u called us only 7 days ago , u will have to wait another 30 days to file a new service request!!! all i needed is i-765 bio appointment , they send me i-485 AGAIN for the third time !!! ITS BEEN 4 MONTHS and they want me to wait another month just to file a new request even though they did it already and they made a mistake . I was trying to explain the situation to the support center where you get ur fingerprints taken , they refuse to help since no appointment letter for i-765 exist.

And my case havent been "touched " since March,3 . HELP! Please!

Just bring the NOA1 for the I-765 and ask to take the bio for both apps. Relax!

OMG THAAAAAAAANKSSS !!!!!!!! Will i have problem since the barcode on both letters will be the same for I-485 only ? but not for i-765 ?

I received two biometric appointments and both for I-485 !!! There is no biometric appointment for I-765 !!! Both came for the same form i-485 with the same receipt number !!! I received both letters 2 weeks ago and now while getting ready for tomorrow appointment i realize they both for I-485 What should i do ??? Its been almost 4 months since i received my first NOA and only tomorrow im going for my biom app and whats worse -THERE IS NO I-765 biometric appoinment (((((( should i call uscis ? PLEASE HEEELP
