Hi VJs. Il be leaving to US by end of Sept. Im curious if how many copies of Birth Cert and Cenomar should i bring with me? Is it advisable that my HS and College diploma should be in red ribbon by DFA? Any advice if what are other docs shall i secure with me? I know it cost much in sending docs to US so its better that i have the important docs with me before i leave. thanks in advance. hope to hear from u guys!

Any government employee regardless of appointment (permanent, casual, contractual) shall secure written travel authority when traveling abroad. Since your fiancee is resigning, she doesn't need to secure one.
thanks guys. Shes working in City Hall of San Fernando, Pampanga

hi all. my fiancee is working in the local government as a CASUAL (not permanent) employee. She will be resigning with her work on friday august 26. As for the list of immigration requirements are the passport, visa, cfo certificate, xray cd, and AUTHORITY TO TRAVEL for govt employees. According to the website of Bureau of Immigration of the Philippines says: (http://immigration.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=239&Itemid=37 )
Government officials and employees traveling abroad WHILE LEAVE OF ABSENCE need written travel authority from their respective Department heads, EXCEPT those with the rank of Assistant Secretary and above, who need the travel clearance/approval from the Office of the President. (Memorandum issued by Commissioner Rufus B. Rodriguez dated July 12, 2000).
My fiance will be leaving on next month and she is curious if she still need to acquire this TRAVEL AUTHORITY since by the time she leaves the Phil, she is already resigned or no longer in the service. She will secure (1)copy letter of resignation, (2)Cert of employment and (4) service records that indicates the date of her resignation and (5)work clearance to support that she doesnt have any liability on the government anymore.
do u think my fiance still need to acquire this authority to travel?
have anyone of u have the same case of my fiance? Any opinions will be appreciated. hope to hear from u guys. thanks in advance. :-s

a)eligibility letter from USEM and have it photocopy. (the guard will stamp ur eligibility letter)
b)NVC letter (scanned letter will d0)
c)passport and photocopy of passport bio page
d)3 pcs 2x2 photos, pen and
e) fee 9174
and most important, do register online on Slec website http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/index.php,
after u fill up, do print it and present it also.
i had my medical last monday and i arrived there at 5am and there were around 80 applicants ahead of me. I have registered online so the guard ddnt give me a number. He just give me PDS form to told me to put name and sign and he directed me to go straight to the USA counter.
if u dont register online u will wait too much time on step 1 depends on what number ul be.
be blessed... God bless u.

Are you the beneficiary or the petitioner? If you're the beneficiary then you should bring original certified copies to the interview. If you want to get those originals back then bring photocopies, as well.
tHANKS.

I would get originals/certified copies for sure.
I'm the beneficiary, My concern is if i need to bring certified copies of his divorce decree and bc during my interview.
thanks.

My fiance and i got approved on our petition recently so now im gathering documents for the interview. With regards to the Proof of termination of a prior marriage, do i need to have a CERTIFIED copy of his divorce decree or just a photocopy will do? For those who had interview recently, does the CO required the certified one? how about his Birth Certificate? should i bring his certified BC too? thanks in advance.
