We applied my daughter's AOS after me so its time for her ROC and my question what docs/proofs do i need to include in her packet except of course with the forms. thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, we will file my daughter's AOS and doing all the forms now and I dnt know what will I put in A# or file number. Is it the same with my A#?Thanks in advance...

They said in the website that last Jan 4 they send the documents but until,now i did not get any mail, i got mail from them sent JAn 4th but it's not the card, it's the receipt formy EAD coz since we move it was sent to our old address and sent back to them and resend it to me to our new address. I dnt know if the documents they are talking about in the website is the card or that letter. Im confused again..**sigh***

I just checked my case online and it was in testing and interview, they said that they sent me the notice dec 12 for my intervw and it will be on January 17, 2013. My question is, is it required during the interview that my hubby is present?coz he will be in Rhode Island for his schooling in the Navy. please let me know, many thanks in advance

I called USCIS to re sched our intervw last dec 17 and got a letter from them dec 24 that they will reschedule my intervw, now im waiting again, my other question is I changed my address online so I got a letter from USCIS about the change of address, but I got a letter for EAD only, how about my AP, I changed my address for all my cases, anyone here experienced this. thanks again..

Hi everyone, I checked my AOS case online and it is in Testing and Interview now, they sent the notice of my interview(JAN 17, 2013) yesterday. Here's my dilemma, Hubby will not be around on January 17 because he need to attend a class related to his work. He is the Navy. It is an excuse for him not to attend the interview since he is in the military and it's like an order for him to attend that class in Rhode Island. Or do we need to change the date of our interview. Thanks in advance..

How about no to all (CENOMAR & NBI = under 16 years of age not required). (may want to have the annulment docuements though)

Had my biometrics appt yesterday at 3. So after a 2 hour drive me and hubby arrived at the office ... EMPTY. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes. So we decided to go downtown Norfolk, have some coffee and walk around for a bit... Calling USCIS military helpline today to see if we can expedite my EAD.

Also I've been having some trouble getting my drivers license. It should be easy since I hold a German drivers license and I can just exchange it for a Virginia DL. But for some reason they make it so complicated. First they had to check with German authorities, then they faxed everything to USCIS to verify my documents. The 3rd time at the DMV they had to fax USCIS my NOA1 but they replied saying that there's a problem, they will call me within the next 48 hrs. I guess I don't appear in the system??? I have no idea.

Hi, did u call the military hotline?what did they say about exoediting your EAD?

with my daughter's i-134 yes we put my name in #10 and ur correct with #11 too, my daughter's interview is on dec 27, hopefully everything will be fine with her i-134..

just a heads up guys, i just done with my biometrics yesterday, i just walked in coz original schedule is dec 4. im just glad that they let me do the biometrics earlier than schedule. and i sent my EAD application again coz it was rejected. whatelse do i need to wait for again?

Sign the application and include a copy of the front and back of the NOA for the AOS to show that you do not need to pay for the EAD as you have a pending AOS application.

Hi everyone, i got my NOA's for AP and AOS but the problem is i got a rejection notice too for my EAD, the reasons why it was rejected is because of the ff. reasons:

a. the check amount is incorrect or has not been provided-how come do i need to include a check with this application, all i know is if u filed it at the same time (EAD,AP and AOS) you will just pay $1,070, right?so my question with this if i resubmit this application (i-765) do i need to pay it?

b. you must sign your application - yeah i know its my fault, i forgot to sign it...

I need some inputs about resubmitting my EAD application, if i need to pay it or not..thanks in advance

Me and my husband filled up the i-134 for my daughter (k2) and confused with question #9 and 10,i know my husband will put my name with that but do we need to use my married name and relationship is spouse since we are married?thanks in advance for all the replies...I scgeduled my daughter's intervew is on dec. 27..thanks again..

In my case biometrics appointment was 2.5 weeks after NOA1, I think it's pretty standard. You might try doing an early walk-in if you don't want to wait, lots of offices allow you to do that, including mine!

We filed Oct 22 and haven't heard from them yet. I'm kinda worried and I'm starting to think I sent that whole thing to the wrong address lol.

We mailed ours the 16th and only got the NOA1 letters on 29th, there were dated oct 22nd. So just hang on there

I am an Irish citizen and i was granted advanced parole on the spot, by showing up at my local uscis office. they approved and issued the document within a hour (due to the sudden death of my mother)... they were very compasionate. I used it successfully to re-enter the us while my adjustment of status was pending and i was approved for my greencard a week after i re-entered the us... good luck the travel documenet will suffice!
