We lost the copy of his birth certificate huge headache to get his parents to get us a new one and get it to us. Finally got all the paperwork in order and we will be sending it on Friday!! I'm so happy to have this put behind us it seems like the past year has just been nonstop paper work. Though it is totally worth it. We love being married!

Visa was picked up Thursday at 4pm!! That was a week from our interview date! And Grevin's flight if Friday at 12! Whew that was cutting it close!!!!!

So we were told his visa would be ready on Monday the 5th... it was labor day so the embassy was closed! So we called today "sorry it will not be ready until Thursday September 8th after 3pm"!! His flight is booked for Friday the 9th at noon!! OMG it had better be ready then!!!!

We had the interview on Thursday he is picking the visa up on Monday... not too shabby of a turn around time

Blah flying home tomorrow but Grevin is going to the embassy tomorrow to pick up the final paperwork before the interview!!! One step closer!

YAYAY!!!!! We finally have our NVC #!!!! Calling the embassy tomorrow!!! I hope we can get an interview soon since I'm already here it is way too expensive to fly home then fly back plus my family is here so it would be amazing to have their additional support! Also since they filled out a second I-134 as a co-sponsor. SO so happy!...

Yep I am such a lucky girl! Going to go visit him for 10 days in Costa Rica on Thursday!! I cannot wait!!!

So have ya'll filled out an I-134 yet? Do I need to get a letter from my bank or is that just supplementry information?

what's your email and I will send you all the info for the medical stuff. It only takes 1 day but the immunizations thing can become a pain. You have to have this done before your interview

No we haven't heard anything from the Us embassy yet either but we didn't receive our NOA2 until July 25th. If I were you I would call the embassy at 2519-2458 or 2519-2274 Mon Tues Thurs or Friday 9am-11am and ask if they have received your package yet. They are super nice! Good Luck!!! Oh and did you already get your medical done?
