My husband got a job....yaaayyyy...after only less than 3 months of being here...he started this past Friday...

VISA in hand...hip hip hooray

Flight is finally booked...POE is May 3, 2012...5 weeks and 2 days...yay

Hello...I have not added any updates in a while. Well, Ambrose got his drivers license on 8/10 and is still working. The biggest, most recent news is the birth of my second grand daughter...Welcome Alana Aaliyah...born 8/30/12...10:32pm...4lbs 10oz...18in...she is my lil lady bug...i call her that because lady bugs are supposed to be good luck and when she and her mom came home on Saturday, there was a lady bug in my house...

Today marks 5 days since my hubby's arrival...it still seems like a dream..we have had a long journey...but now is when the real journey begins...living the married life together in one household...I pray that what ever trials and tribulations that we endure that our love is strong enough to conquer...it is God that put us together so I have faith that it will also be God that will keep us together for life....

Yay...am very excited!!!!! My husbands interview has been scheduled for 12/12 :) All Glory be to God...

3 days til interview.....wow...days are going fast...

Ok, so the count down is ON....8 days until my hubby's arrival...I am nervous...stressed and excited all at the same time.....

My lady bug had her 2 month check up...weighing in at 9lbs 8oz and 20.25 inches long...go lady bug...do your thing...such progress on her part...Mammy loves you

24 hours to go....hubby feels extremely confident...he has all his paperwork in order and labeled...he already has his clothes laid out...lol...he is requesting that i give him a 3a,m. wake up call...NO PROBLEM...

One more week til interview....the days are going fast...

One year ago today, I was in the sweet country of Nigeria, marrying the man of my dreams. We are still on our journey as POE is not planned until May, but soon will begin our life physically together. I am praying that the next three months go by very quickly!!!!!

We received Prince's Social Security card in the mail yesterday...May 14...only 11 days after his arrival...That was very fast considering all the posts I have read...God Bless

Green card arrived in mail on Tuesday, May 29...only 26 days after his arrival...everything from the beginning with the I-130 has went along so quickly with no mishaps...the longest waiting period was from interview approval til POE...God is Good

My husband passed his written test for drivers permit...yay...now on to the 5 hour pre licensing course tomorrow...

yes Toni, they gave him a letter and told him to pick it up on Dec 20...he scanned me the letter...it says wut type of visa, and the location to pick it up in lekki

yea...he scans me everything...he is very organized and plans his days like 2 days ahead of time...mb a little ocd...lol

No, no POE yet. He still has to pick up his visa on Tuesday. We had not planned for hime to come until around May. He wants to wrap some things up at home and make sure that he has enough money to hold him over until he is able to get work here...just having visa in hand knowing that he can come whenever is good enough for me at this point...thank you for checking...how are you and your hubby?
