Hi everyone!
I have received my EAD (employment authorization document) already and have applied for a social security number in a local Social Security Office. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the system of Homeland Security Website and they could not assign me a Social Security #.
Now, my question is, can I just apply for a work with EAD and without the SS #?
Hope to get an answer here. It would be a great help for me.
Thank you.

If you already have spent time together with your boyfriend in the Philippines and he is single, he should be qualified to file a petition for you. Make sure to take pictures and save your conversation (emails, chats) - you'll need this when applying for a visa.

I have been waiting also for the packet 3 to arrive, its been like over a month already since the Embassy received the approved petition. I think we should go ahead now and schedule for an appointment.
The packet 3 contains the DS-230 right? I filled out a DS-230 Form online and printed it. Do I need to send to the embassy?
If I haven't receive the packet3, St. Luke doesn't ask for an appointment letter?
Who does the scheduling of appointment? petitioner ba or beneficiary? Thank you very much

The approved visa petition (I-129F) was received by the embassy.
Does the petitioner (In the US) should schedule now for an appointment? Or do I (beneficiary) need to wait for the notification from the embassy for the packet 3 (containing the DS230 & other forms)? Please advise.

Please Help!
It's been a month now since my boyfriend received a notification that NVC sent the package (with approved I-129F) to Manila US Embassy. I haven't receive yet a notification (or the packet3) from Manila US Embassy til this time. Yet, 4 days ago (June 18) my boyfriend (in the US) received a letter addressed to my name which is about the scheduling of appointment. I tried calling the embassy, its either very busy or rejecting my call. I also sent email already to follow up if their office has received the package from the NVC.
My question:
1.) I still have to wait for the notification from Manila Embassy before scheduling for an appointment, right?
2.) Does packet3 includes the form DS230, which i need to mail back to the embassy?
3.) Is packet3 be mailed thru DHL or Philippine Post?
4.) Any idea is the maximum time of waiting for the beneficiary to receive the notification?
Thank You very much. Waiting for answers.

Your situation sounds like complicated. Have you tried contacting the U.S. Embassy Manila? Coz when I had questions before, I used to send them an email, and they answer 1-2 days. Try to shoot them an email: IVManilaReplies@state.gov
During your interview, bring all your documents. Hope it will work out for you. Just stay positive.
