Hey Querida!! No interview yet =/ T is still waiting for package 3 to reach to him. He already has his medical schedule and we were reviewing the paper work, so nothing but a little wait now. How are you doing?

So I track my case through DHL and I think that the embassy already received it today =D

Thank you Lilly , is that I sent an email to the embassy asking and they said that my fiance has to wait for them to contact him so I was sort of puzzled by such contradiction. I will tell my fiance to contact the doctor at Hamburg then. Thanks again. =)

HI Krautlaus, I was reading some topics and saw some of your comments so maybe you can answer my question. I already have my case number from the NVC, are you able to make a medical exam appointment with just your case number or did you have to wait for the embassy to assign it or give you green light to book one????

Not at all. His record is clean and so is mine so I can't tell why. I do understand that if the names are alike someone who has a record they will do further checks too. I am just taking it day by day and hoping that they surprise us with that NOA2 soon.

Hey querida!! What they told me was that we are under further background checks, that if within 6 months we don't hear from them to call. I called last week and they told me that I can place another service request after 30 days of receiving a response from the last one to get any updates. So at this point there is nothing that we can do but wait. =/

Well Good Luck then. They gave me 6 months so your time sounds more promising. I have faith that our time will be much shorter than what we expect. You may contact your congressman so that they can push it a bit more as you are not into further background checks.

Confused.. did they tell you to wait 30 days more after you placed a Service Request or it was the customer service representative who told you that?

Did you call the national service center and placed a service request??

I decided not to read look much into the timelines or else in here, IT gets me more depress... Let's see when our NOA2 will come. =/

Well That's less waiting time that what what they told us. We are under background checks and they told us that if we don't hear from them in 6 months to contact them =/ Best of lucks.
