  1. Anyone who just made online schedule appointment, may I ask your help, pls?

I wanted to have my interview by next month but I lost my passport and am waiting for the release of new one,

As far as I know, you couldn't make online schedule without your passport number.

could anyone tell me if there is still available slot on Feb. for interview, how many left, and when?

Please am just eager to know now, thank you in advance..

  2. St. Marys is more convenient only if you have your visa in hand already. If you do not have your visa already, you will have to return and get the sticker affixed to your passport.

Many people like to complete the CFO seminar before their interview. Then, when they receive their visa, all they have to do is get the sticker.

Thanks for that Tahoma, you have the point.. And I was going to do the same, take the counseling in advance and get back when i have my visa in hand for the sticker or I may wait until I get my visa and do that. I will just think of that. You always have good advice, thanks for sharing them to us who just started on this journey.

  3. Sorry for not posting this topic at first in Philippine forum, but I wasn't aware of that, but thank you for moving it to where it belongs. I hope someone could say something nicely to those who asks for help... Anyways, to all my Kababayan who replied here, Salamat Po! I guess I'll choose St.Mary's according to all the information you shared to me.

  4. We are waiting on the approval of our NOA2 at this moment.. What is the average wait for a police clearance after request at Japan Embassy? The problem is trying to reduce the amount of travel. Presently we know that she has to fly to manila to get request from Embassy, then wait on arrival of Police Clearance. Then travel for Cebu to Manila for medical exam and interview.....worst case would be 3 round trips from Cebu and Manila..... Thanks for any suggesting in reducing travel. :help:

Base on my experience it took only 45 days, you must bring valid passport when you visit Japanese consulate, no need any request letter from US Embassy, but make sure you tell them that it's for K1/Fiancee visa. Hope it helps you:) good luck!

  5. Hello All,

About half of my fiancee's parent's house burned down and I want to send some money to help them. They don't have a bank account and I don't think they have proper IDs to open one. It's going to cost around $2000 to repair the house and replace what they lost.

What would be the best way to send the money? I don't really want to use Western Union. Would FedEx be safe enough? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

    Brian

Try to ask them if they have relative or trusted friend who has a valid ID's so you can send it to them but make sure your fiancee is there also to get the money.. XOOM is the cheapest way to send money online but the exchange rate is too low compared to others, only $5.99 transfer fee, but if it's your first time, then it is FREE! I hope this helps you... and they will be okay.
