  1. I really pray they start wiping the dust off of our cases and carrying them to the correct places. I am sick and tired of collecting dust at a musty old warehouse. Why did they do this to all of us anyway? How will putting us in there even help?

Well, atleast Insha'Allah we will be together for 3 weeks in 6 days honey. I am very sad that I wont be at the interview for you though. Oh, well I doubt it matters much as ISL anyway. Praying for everyone here!

  2. I have read through the June and August fliers forums and they over there seem more happy with the approvals coming their way. However We July fliers are still waiting with no good news. This is now no longer fair! Whats the criteria for selecting the approved ones???? Is this a case of "all animals are equal but some animals are more equal that others???" Now in addition to these delays USCIS is going to go on holiday for Thanksgiving.... :bonk: I hope they have plenty to be thankful esp. because they have succeeded in giving me stomach ulcers and breaking my heart. Now whats with the 8/4/2011 touch and no more activity cause that's also the last day they touched my application.

:ot2: OK...I am done venting I just hope I do not have to drag this process to the new year!!!(F)

Well an insider said that all touched on August 4th went into a large storage warehouse and we should hear something no later than January-February. Also, that we should start a service request after the 5th month mark!

  3. Hi All, I got my NOA2 today after long painful wait of 140 days. We are so happy to get our I-130 approved. I wish all the fellow members waiting on NOA2 a good luck and you will get it soon.

Thank you all VJers for sharing the valuable information about visa processing. Hoping to get our next steps completed smoothly. Thanks.

    NOA1 - 6/21/2011

    NOA2 - 11/10/2011

That is great news! Many congratulations!

  4. Me either sad.gif

In approximately 2 1/2 weeks, I will become a 4 month waiter also. No activity at all. I notice if you look at igor's list and chart you will notice that July as thhe lowest amount of approvals; even August-October has more approval than July. Where are all of our cases? Are they in storage? I read a post where it mentioned some of the cases get put into storage if there is a large workload of them coming in at the same time. Do you think this is what happened to many of our cases?

  5. I am going to ignor Igor's timeline. That list of timeline is nothing but a time waster and it killed my hopes too many times. I'll just follow the 5-month waiting rule and ignore Igor's uselessness...

Yes, for all future references by ALL means simply IGNORE the "Igor's waste of time list". I have had crushed dreams since October 21 and I will continue through December 14 (estimated adjudication dates). I will just call the NCSC on December 27th and request them to examine my case.

  6. Just file for the I-130 because it is faster in the long run. Why do you want to do the K visas for? It is better to get the correct documents together and do it the spouse way. I had considered all three options and opted for the I-130 because it seemed to be a timesaver so he would already have a greencard and be able to work right away. So, why not just do that I-130 so that he can work when he gets here? Also, you wont have to go through all that paperwork to adjust status. Then you will just need to remove the conditions on the two year greencard later on which would be better in my opinion. You may want to get some legal advice about the validity of your marriage in accordance with Indian law. My cousin lives in Kerala and as per my knowledge if you married at all, be it small or large, then you'd be considered married.

  7. Wow, 8 months is a long time! That must be terrible. We're just over four months apart since the last visit and that already feels way too long. What happens with AP? I gather it's embassy specific for 'high risk' countries? A lot of that stuff seems downright discriminatory :(

I tried (and failed) to immigrate to the UK in 2009. Now we're trying it this direction. Sigh, stupid bureaucracy is a universal language.

Hoping USCIS gets moving soon for the sanity of us all.

Hello! I am with you on this. I am trying to book tickets at a lowfare and the seats are all sold by the time I try to book it. Ugh! I am so tired off waiting on USCIS. If I do not go see him I will go absolutely insane! LOL At any rate, I am sorry you failed to relocate. I know that it is tough. Praying for all of us!

  8. Hang in there! It might not be much consolation, but we know how you feel. The bureaucracy is awful, but it's gonna come through for you guys in the end. Someday soon you'll be back together, and this will all be a memory.

I sure hope you are right! Well, atleast I have planned a trip. Just need to purchase my tickets tomorrow. It has been 8 months since I was with my love. It is hard to pass these days without him.

I pray we all get out of USCIS soon. I have a longer wait at the embassy because mostly ALL MALES at Islamabad get AP. So, many have waited anywhere from 3-12 months + on AP. I worry about this the most......I need to cross this barrier to get to that one.
