Hi guys how are you all doing here! I just got my NOA of my AOS I-485 from mail after 10 months of filing. And I'm going to receive my green card after 3 weeks.

My question is do I need to renew my EAD/AP(combo card) ? What I know is you have to renew the combo card if you have not receive your green card yet 3 to 4 months before your EAD/AP expires.

What about my situation that I will have a green card on the next 3 weeks and my EAD/AP will expire by July 25, 2017.

Went to SSA today to change my middle name but the staff don't allow me to do it so I talked to the Manager but they have the same thoughts that I can't do it right now as I am out of status. My I-94 expired last April 18, we sent my AOS last April 26, I will have my biometrics on May 24th. I told them the reasons that I'm still waiting for my green card because it's already filed. They can't change my middle name because they wanted my green card. The first time we went to SSA was a week after we got married. I used my surname as my middle name as I am now married but the staff changed it to my maiden name because that is in my passport and visa. She told me that she need to use it as that will be use when I am going to apply in BMV. I thought that it's OK to do it as SSA will allow you to change 3x in a year. I used my surname as my middle name in my AOS. Last week I apply for a state ID in BMV using my surname but they wanted to follow what I have in my SS card so I showed them the letters that I had from USCIS that it will complicate on my AOS if they are going to use my maiden name. They will only give me a state id if it is the same in the SS card.Now I cannot do anything here until I get my green card.

Same here. I sent mine April 26 thru priority mail. I checked the USPS tracking # & it's already in Chicago office. Until now I haven't receive any news from them.

Until now I didn't receive my luggage.Got here Jan 20 and 3 days now without my things. While in the Phil's I asked the Korean Air staff where I can get my luggage and he said in Korea so I checked in & they tagged it in Dallas for my immigration. After the immigration I need to claim my luggage for my final destination but I don't see it anywhere so I asked the desk in AA and they check their record but said my luggage is still in Korea and said that I can go home and they are going to send it in my final destination. I already reported it & promise to send it thru our door at home the next day. I made the follow up 2x a day but nothing happens.

It's not only me who had that experience on that same flight another Filipina K1 her luggage got in China instead of FW Dallas I don't know if she got hers now or not.

My fiance kept on bugging me to go to Manila before the 20th just to get the CFO sticker his reason is whatever happens or emergency etc to the person who have that sticker in the airport my flight will screwed up. His right also. So I'm going to book a flight in Manila any time today. Thank you guys.

Hello fellow VJ's! My flight will be on the 20th of this month. What I worry much is because of the 3 hrs stay in Manila considering the delay and the traffic and I have no CFO sticker yet. My departure from my province is at 6:30AM and will arrive in Manila at 8:20AM in Terminal 2. My next flight is at 12:30PM Terminal 1 going to Seoul,Korea. Can you give me some suggestions please.

1. Do I need to come to Manila just to get the CFO sticker and back to my province on the same day before my flight on the 20th?

2. How about courier service, will the CFO Office allow one of my family member who live near Manila,give him authorization letter together with my passport, copy of my passport, copy of the visa, copy of CFO certificate and send it back to me thru courier again.

3. Is the 3 hrs enough to come to CFO Office for the sticker and back to the airport I still need to check in my luggage to terminal 1.

4. How about getting the CFO sticker at the airport in what Terminal? Will they really do that?

Please I need your advice which is the best way for me to get my CFO sticker. I appreciates all your answers, thank you.

My question is

1.Do we need to be wed before Feb 3?

or we can be wed within 90 days of my POE?

2? My flight is from Phil's to Seoul to Dallas to Indiana is my POE in Dallas?

Thank you Lord, this is what i been waiting for. The Case Creation Date is today and it is updated today also. From Immigrant now its Non-Immigrant. I was so worried yesterday because the status was READY but the message was i need to schedule an interview, medical and pay another $240. I wonder why that its not yet expired. Now i am relieved. Hello VJ's. I am confused here. Can anyone tell me about the CEAC status is it normal in the body of the letter to have an interview, medical and pay $240 again? i had done this last August and its not even expire yet. Are you guys experience this? I appreciate your respond, thanks,

Hello everyone…I am confused here. My fiancé just called USEM earlier today inquiring about the status of my case if they have any updates because its been 91 days already since I had my interview and its still ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING. But they answered him the same that they cant tell anything but to wait. This afternoon I checked CEAC again and its now READY the problem is I already through all these. I already done the interview, medical and I already pay the $240 . Why their asking me to do this again? Is it normal for these requirement to be asked in the body of the CEAC website of the READY status or should i be concerned? I appreciate any answers thank you.

Yes I'm hoping too that we will finish this soon. Will just continue praying.

I never got any 221g form after the interview, I even ask the CO if they needed my fiance' requirements like the affidavit of support, transcript, w2, pay stubs,cert of employment, bank cert but she said 'no, I have no problem on you or your application, but I will put you on review or under administrative processing, but we never know when is the review finish so hold on and we are going to send you an email'.

I never try to call the USEM as what I read that you can try to contact them after 60 days. But I tried emailing them inquiring about my case and after 2 days they responded my email that the review of my case is not yet completed. My CEAC status also changed on that same day and still under AP. It will be 60 days on Oct 6 and will contact them again.

I had my interview last Sept21 and its approved. My visa status was 4days in READY, 5days in AP. Last touch update was on Sept. 28. Then in USTRAVELDOCS dashboard it dont show anything. Because the last few days it said my passport still in embassy. But now theres nothing. Anyone who had experience like this before?

My case is different. I had my interview last Aug 6 and the CO said that they will put my case on review or under administrative processing. She took my passport, Police Clearance Abroad, CENOMAR, NBI, and Birth Certificate. She never ask my fiance' requirement but just told me to wait until they send me an email. She glance the picture that we have and ask if he sends me money. I was under AP for 57 days now and we are still waiting. My CGI status for the 1st week was that my passport is in the USEM and on the 2nd week i see nothing the but blank. At CEAC still on AP but they touch my case Aug 6, Aug 31, Sept 22 and Oct 2. Im a kind of worried because i dont want to expire my Medical which is only good for 6 months. I never know when will my CEAC status change.

I already made the DS -160 online. How about the DS156, DS156K and DS157 i dont need it anymore?
