  1. Someone said " Teach a man to fish, you feed him for life."

We say " Give a man a Green Card application, you screw him for life".

    :ot2:

    October Visa Bulletin One liner:

All Hail to USCIS. Some good progress on EB2 India. All others will have to wait at the snail train station.

As always, the predictions you made at SELLDUDE OPINIONS

    were ON AVERAGE Accurate.

Let us continue the trend for November 2011 Visa Bulletin.

If possible, let us send in a new coffee machine and donuts to USCIS to make them work more actively on I485 applications.

While we continue our daily chores of Visa Bulletin Discussions here on Visa Journey, let us make your opinion heard at

    http://www.selldude.com/opinions/legal-immigration.html

Why nobody comments on f2a any more? I guess it will be moving slowly now, hopefully one month at a timeor faster! hopefully without retrogressions anymore

  2. AND MY PRIORITY DATE IS OCT 1, 2010.. WHATS WRONG? WHEN I CALL NVC ALWAYS SAYS " THE VISA IS NOT AVAILABLE U NEED TO WAIT UR PRIORITY TO BECOMES AVAILABLE. THEN WHY OTHERS GOT COMPLETED AND PAY FEES, DATS NOT FAIR, RIGHT?

Believe me even if others got their cases compleeted it doesn't necessarily mean they are getting interview tomorrow an greencard next week, they will also have to wait. We all have to wait!!!..

  3. I-130 petitions have nothing to do with the country you are from. The current processing times for I-130 applications for F2a is 5 months.

If you don't get approval beyond that you will have to call USCIS and check if you have any RFEs or check why it's getting delayed.

I'm seeing a lot of FEb and March fillers getting I-130 approvals recently.

How ever the service center might matter.i filled with california service center.

Thank you for your reply, I think you are right about the service center, mine is Vermount and processing times show 8.7 months as of May,31.. and it's always getting longer (the period of processing times) and the date as of... moving further, so we have to wait more than 5 months!..I called them, they said they need not any additional info - RFEs as fot today..

  4. My PD is 18 March 2011.and I got my I-130 approval Notice on July 21st(yesterday) .It just took 4 months for approval..

You should call USCIS and enquire 8 months is too much as compared to current processing times...

How come you got approval of i-130???? My PD is OCT.28, 2010 I didn't get anything either...maybe it depends on the country you are from???... I called USCIS they said they can not say anything specific, and it looks like we have to wait till the end of the year for any news..((

  5. I DONT WANT TO BE TOO OPTIMISTIC OR PESSIMISTIC....BUT I THINK PD SHOULD MOVE FORWARD TO 2010 AND THEN SHOULD SLOW DOWN BCAZ THERE ARE MANY CASES OF 2008 AND 2009 WHICH HAS GOT VISAS AND THERE ARE MANY CASES WHICH ARE COMPLETED AND ABOUT TO COMPLETE THERE 1 YR PERIOD {SO THEY HAVE TO SEND NEW PCC AND SPONSOR DOCUMENTS}...SO I THINK 2008 AND 2009 WILL MOVE VERY FAST BUT 2010 WILL BE SLOW AND IT VL MOVE FORWARD 1 MONTH PER MONTH OR SO....SO MY PREDICTION IS{BROADLY}..

I don't agree, though I try to be realistic as well, HOW can they return to reviewing for example JUNE 2010 if they'd done it already??? a good half of cases with PD 2010 are already completed. Be realistic but not discouraging, please!
