I seriously think they forgot bout out aos :/
What makes you think they have forgotten you?
-
Be grateful your EAD has been approved super quick. That is all you really need.

To answer your questions in order.
1. Maybe, maybe not. I saw people being turned away from biometric appointments when I was there, to be fair they were busy.
2. If you wife is the one adjusting status, she will need Advance Parole first if she leaves without it, she'll be out of the country until she gets a spousal visa. If it's you adjusting, then she can travel without worries I'd imagine. Also generally unless you need to be helped filling in the form at the office you should go along on your own anyway. It's not a big deal.

It'll take a few months yet. Don't worry it's only two weeks or so since your bio's. Remember it might take longer because of your overstay, or it might fly past. It's all luck.
It's not even been a month since you applied. EAD's and AP take about 3 months. I-130 and 485 could be 6 months or more.

My case was transferred to California on Wednesday. And I have my biometric appointment this coming Tuesday. It's all starting to move. Ish

technically you can be issued one but if you used your passport instead of EAD/GC, they will base the expiration of the temporary card on your I-94. if based on your timeline, it will expire on April. i actually made the same argument before with DLD and here was my thread on that (same requirements for Utah state ID) http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/340968-state-id-and-learners-permit
btw, which office did you try to apply at? i applied in West Valley office and they only have one person responsible for checking SAVE status. her name is Carla, and they are gonna have you call her if your status is pending.
The SAVE paperwork came back with my Entry date being the 14th April 2012. How that works I don't know. I live right near the West Valley office, but since I couldn't get an appointment there until sometime in the middle of April we went to the Draper location instead and got seen instantly. They told me to come back on the 15th because the guy behind the glass said I will get a new I-94 before then, which is the first time I've heard about that. And to be honest I don't believe him in the slightest.
The thing that bugs me is our auto insurance requires me to have a driving license issued from the state, as the Law states I can't reside here without it, but the state won't follow it's own rules. I'm going to give up and wait until I either have my GC or move out of this state in July, and tell the insurance company to get over it.

Erica & Phil, you need your EAD in order to get a temporary Driver's License
Not according to the Utah Drivers Handbook. It says it there in black and white. You also don't get a grace period to get your license, you have to get it straight away according to the DMV, but they won't issue it. Very strange.
As you can see this is the text from the handbook, the bold items are what was provided to the man in the office but he all he did was shake his head and let someone else deal with the customer. It seems to me the state employee's don't actually know what they are doing.

Basee, I intend to take the paperwork with me again and ask them to talk to someone else. I wouldn't mind but I've been licensed here before as well. Good thing I don't have to take another driving test I don't think I could drive bad enough to pass the test hehe.

It's still the same. Went this morning and they are still not following there own guidance notes. It seems to be someone who doesn't deal with the public who gives the yes or no, but someone who stays tucked away in an office. On a positive note they did say you can drive on your foreign licence if you entered on a non-immigrant visa, because as it states, it's a "non" immigrant visa. Very helpful people though who actually deal with the state's customers.
Another thing I noted while there was although I don't have an EAD yet, my DHS paperwork came back as approved for work, seems a little odd, oh and my entry date was listed as in April although I arrived in January, seems a little odd to me bu meh.

March 2nd here! Can't wait for this part to be over and done with.
-
Not needed in London from what I am lead to believe.

You can mail it to either address with USPS, but if you address it like this on the package
USCIS
Attn: I-129F USCIS
2501 South State Highway 121 Business P.O. Box 660151
Suite 400 Dallas, TX 75266
Lewisville, TX 75067
It'll go to the PO box. Doesn't actually matter how you address it because at the post office, when a piece of mail has both a street address and a PO box on the same line, it goes to the PO box. I know because I work there for eight hours a day keying mail. So yes, you can just address it like the second address or like the first one. They're actually the same thing. And they'll get it. I promise. I do my best to make sure anything going to or from USCIS gets where it needs to go.
And yes, they mean Fedex or UPS when they say "express mail and courier deliveries". They probably can't say them by name, though.
Good luck!

Ha it's okay. I am already okay with a longish wait. At least the next thing is an approval. We are at CSC so it may be quick it may be slow. As long as I'm there to marry Erica in January it doesn't matter.
-
141 days and we won't know until we get the mail sometime this week or next.
-
Mine was back within a week of the cheque being cashed.
-
Yes, I sent Erica the evidence back in July, so once she receives the notice it can go straight back that day.
-
I think it'll be for evidence of meeting within the last 2 years, we didn't know about the ticket and passport stamp thing until we signed up on here. Really isn't well documented on the forms.
-
Yes, just got it about 40 minutes ago. Never thought I'd be relieved to get one. At least they've not lost our file.
-
Never thought I'd be relieved to get an RFE but just did.
Not long now.
-
While your at it why not get rid of all security checks. Na it'll never happen and quite rightly so, I don't blame any country for checking deeper into it's immigrants. Wish the UK would try the same thing.
-
We just hit day 141 of waiting. I remember how naive I was back at day 90 thinking it was just around the corner
. I kid of course. I wouldn't mind but it seems people with far more complex cases and more history get approved sooner than simple cases. Or maybe ours got lost.
-
Lol. Yes it's annoying to say the least. I've tried that tactic before it doesn't get you far.
-
Try two months. I feel your pain but you probably have a good while to wait. They don't seem to like the English much right now lol.
-
Don't worry, they are often wrong. Mine once said August and I'm still waiting.
-
Yes all countries you have entered.

Being transferred isn't really a good thing. They seem to take a lot lot longer than those that go to your local office. You may well be approved before those people that transferred and you'll have a big smile on your face. Don't worry they haven't lost you it just takes a while. Relax.
