    My fiance' and I met in Milan, Italy through a mutual friend. Our mutual friend is Egyptian and he introduced me to my fiance who is also Egyptian. My fiance has resided in Italy for 12 years. My fiance and I met in 2006. We became engaged on 1/1/2011. I began to process his K-1 in 2012.

    My fiance’ is Egyptian but resides in Italy. Due to his mom’s death, he returned to Egypt and ended staying for a year. During this time, our petition for the K-1 Visa was approved.
