I am under a H1 working visa at the moment and I am looking for help on what the process is I must go through to apply for permanent residency: forms and cost. Any help on this topic would be fantastic.

I'm a recent college graduate in PA who just got married to a US citizen. I'm originally from Liverpool, England and I have a job in PA at a public accounting firm.
I'm waiting for my OPT approval and then I will be applying for my permanent residency application. I was wondering if anyone else has been through this process and how much it cost. Mainly direct costs, without lawyer fees etc.
Any help on the subject would be a great help.
