My God, 5 months is a long time! Are you going to visit your husband soon? At least you're busy with a job and Toronto is kind of a fun city, too. You should get yoru husband to call his Congressman and have it expedited. It works, my husband did that and stuff happened overnight!

got the hardcopy RFE on Friday (I-864 related, they wanted an employment letter, i thought that was optional...) Of course, I've already sent the reply via overnight delivery lol Hopefully, it resolves the issue.

it's for the I-485 and the thing that annoys me is that I wont know what it's for until the letter gets here in the mail. Just the aggravation to know there's a RFE...FML lol

Yes I do see my case on the website. I think you have to sign up and create a profile though for it to appear. Then you enter your NOAs numbers and it updates. Let me know if it works!
