Hi, thank you for your always help!! I mailed the I-864 and the USPS confirmed that it arrived to the NVC but I'm not sure if they approved it or not yet? are they going to contact me by mail or Can you please tell me how can I track my I-864 status?

The NVC accepted my visa fees $404 and now asking me to fill the( DS-230). I'm working on it currently!!

I have few questions please,

My mother overseas is working now on obtaining:

Her birth CF , her marriage CF , husband deceased CF ,her police clearance , her passport photos and my birth certificate

1-Does she need to send me more documents than the above?

2-Based on the NVC instructions, she can send me a certified copies and she can keep the original for her embassy interview?

3-What do I need to send on my behalf? Like My marriage certificate or anything else?

I appreciate your help. I’m almost ready to send the I-846 and I-846A tomorrow but we have a problem,

Our marriage certificate (we got married in our country) has my old husband’s first name. After he became an American citizen, he changed his first name. I know that I can provide a court copy of his name change but he can not find it anywhere (he never used since long time ago).

Now what to do to proof that we are a husband and wife? He is telling me that our joint Tax income is more than enough to proof that we are a husband and a wife.

I hope you can give us your input regarding this issue?

1-Regarding Form I-864:

Question 25. Federal income tax return information,

Do I need to leave it empty as I'm not working and my husband is the joint sponsor? I'm confused because we do file a joint income tax return yearly.

2-Regarding Form I-864a:

Part 1. Information on the Household Member. (You.). Is that me (PRIMRY SPONSER) or my husband (JOINT SPONSER)?

3- When I send the I-864 and the I-864a what more do I need to include besides the follwoing ,

copy of my last year tax return.

Marriage certificate.

Proof that we are sharing the same address (driver licenses , joint bank account and joint property).

Proof that my husband is an American citizen (copy of his passport and my passport).

I already paid today the IV fees ($404) for my mother's Green card. Now I'm filling the ( I-864) and (I-864A/Because I never worked in USA).

does any one have an idea what should I wirte in the,

Part 6. Sponsor's income and employment:

Do I need to say I'm unemplyed since.....(please note that I never worked in USA) Or do I need to leave part 6 empty and only let my husband fill the (I-864A)

I applied for:

1-I-130 for my mother.

2-After 8 months I received by mail (I-130) approval + a letter from the immigration asking me to pay the (AOS) fees on line and to sent them the DS-3032 by mail. (Which I already did)

3-Now on my AOS payment page on the immigration web site I got direction to fill the I-864 forms.(I'm trying to do that now but I'm a little bit confused!! that is why I'm asking many questions

I'm an American citizen (got my Citizenship via my husband0. I received recently Green card approval for my mother. I already paid the (AOS) fees on line and sent the DS-3032 by mail. Now they want me to fill one of the I-864 forms (I-864, I-864EZ, I-864A, I-864W)!!

I'm confused and I do not know which of the above forms I need to fill especially that I do not know who can sponsor my mother (me or my husband) ?

Please note:

I'm a house wife and I never worked in USA. My husband is the only one who is working, has a good income, we are both our house owners , and file joint Taxes yearly.

Which form out of the above I need to fill?
