    I have a question, if Daniel can't get nonstop, but lands in amsterdam, is that going to mess anything up with the visa??

      I actually had 2 layovers - one in Europe and one in another state :) I had 3 and 4 hours between flights and it worked out perfectly.

      I had 4 hours between my flights and it was perfect. I'd say 3-4 hours is optimal to allow enough time and no stress to go through immigration and customs.

      It doesn't matter if he stops anywhere in Europe. If he lands in another state first, that will be his point of entry and he will clear immigration there.

    Paul received his passport with the visa yesterday! It looks so official! Finally everything is all set, visa and flights! :)
