My question is about the following. We sent in all the required documents, but just photocopies... I did call NVC and yes they did say just photocopies are fine of all these required documents. Where my wife is from there's not a notary. They are all just as mentioned b4 just photocopies. Do you think it will be Ok? anyone know from experience? She is in Russia right now and I'm here waiting for her.. I130 is approved and all visa fees are paid. Affidavit of support is processed and Ok. The ds230 should be reviewed this week according to their timeline. She has all the original documents at her home. Can she just take them to the embassy during interview? Id like to know if we will be ok or not, Ive met some of the rudest people working at the NVC and they really couldnt care less about my questions. Thanks!

Im currently in the NVC step, Affidavit of support and ds 230 fees are showing as paid. I sent in ds230 about a week and a half or more ago and the affidavit of support about 3 weeks ago. Currently nothing is in the system except the fees as showing paid. I'm hoping to hear something soon!

I have an approved i130 petition, I contacted my senator at 4.5 months, They made a call and the case was complete the following week. The senators office told me they would continue to contact for me and the case was resolved quickly... It depends which person you get i guess though... But mine was assigned to a case manager the same day the senators office called.

I have read many many topics about this response when trying to login at the NVC: Sign In Failed
Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.
All the topics Ive read were about closed cases. My case was received by the nvc and put into the system about 2 weeks ago. I received a letter from them on the 6th saying to go and make a payment for my I864... when i Try to login this is the message I get and today is the 8th. Is there any reason I would get this message? Its not completed bc they have just got it and sent me the message to go online and pay... I have an invoice and case # and when Ive called them they said they dont know what is wrong bc it doesnt say anything on their end as far as a problem, they dont know why I cant pay. Thanks for any info.
How long for interview do you think??
