  1. Thanks I'll try to stay dry. Its kind of hard to say what these things will do. I was working in Wilmington NC. The hurricanes eye came right on top of Wilmington and stuck there for 3 days but all we got is lots of rain, a few downed trees and a few roofs blown off.

I'm actually down south jersey, west of Atlantic city. Wilmington is built with hurricanes in mind but New Jersey and New York aren't at all so if it starts looking really bleak by afternoon tomorrow , I may just drive out west for a day! ;)

Absolutely....Better safe than sorry. And just think winters coming for your Nor'Esters. My fiance is familiar with tropical systems, however the cold and the snow may take a bit of transitioning. Va Beach got 17 inches in one storm last year. Which is like a year total for us down here. Travel safe, if you do decide to seek higher ground.

Congratulations on your approval and stay safe from the elements.

I'm hoping for everyone on the east coast to come through unscathed. (F)

From your mouth to Gods ears.. Thanks

  2. Congratulations on your NOA2 and good luck the rest of the way! Hope the hurricane passes you by without any damage. We're waiting in line here off of the coast of NJ expecting a good bit of flooding.

We are just receiving outer bands of Irene now....Stay safe as well. I have friends that live in Asbury Park, NJ..Stay Dry.

congratulations! God bless on the rest of your. Journey...don't forget to update ur timeline...:)

    Thank you.. Will do !

  3. I live in Va Beach Va. The beginning of the week we had an earthquake, we are now experiencing a Category 2 Hurricane. After running around gathering batteries and flashlights and food, went to the mailbox and today I just received the wonderful news that NOA2 was approved. I wish everyone well, especially us on the east coast bracing for natures fury.
