  1. Today i check my case status ...

    Case Creation Date:21-Sep-2005Status Updated Date:28-Dec-2012

Status Updated Date change 2 times in 1 week ...and when 1st time web status start working then they change my Status Updated Date 7 time in 2 weeks...

its mean they are working on my case ....then why they are so slow in visa printing????

Their printer is probably out of visa page's or ink lol

  2. I sent an email to the embassy stating that it has been three months and i haven't got any news from them and to provide an update, and here's what they replied:

Your case is still under administrative processing. We will let you know once your visa is ready.

    Thanks

    Immigrant Unit

    - straight and simple no details actually it has been 6 months since the interview and 3 months since i submitted the required docs so its kind of painful for me i have been waiting since March 2010 for this process to be completed but its just stucked. is there any way i could get an update on my case i saw some posts mentioning something about states department would that be ok if i call and get an update or harmful for my case?

  3. I gave my interview back in July and they asked for my certified marriage certificate with translation it took me four months to get it certified and submit it (October)and i got another call asking for my national ID which i also submitted right after the day, all my documents submitted to the embassy were in originals. Now its been more than a month am waiting and haven't heard from them (i am in AP) should i contact embassy because am worried if they don't lose my original documents - and if you guys suggest i shouldnt contact then would they return my original documents when my case is finalized?

  4. THank you so much, well most of the interviews that take place in Kabul are not placed under AP. My friends husband got his visa in the same day with no AP, also my fiance told me that on the day of his interview a lot of others got approved and were told that their visa will be ready in a week or so, but since my fiance was missing some documents he was told to bring the documents ASAP, so I wish you did your interview in Kabul, Anyways dont worry Inshallah the wait time will be over.. KHudawand negahdar :innocent:

Thats kinda true coz when i was at interview there was this other chap who was like am guna get my visa by afternoon and was saying its so easy coz one of his close friend got his visa on same day - i was wondering that when we apply for visa for pakistan it takes basically 2 days for processing how come they give out on the same day hahah but that guy must have been lucky but that poor guy got same issue as we all he had some docs to be translated and certified so he was delayed but anyways u are right lets wait what happens - but do update us on ur fiance status atleast will make me happy that the embassy is atleast processing the visas LOLzzzz LMAO

  5. Hello Sister, you can only determine if your case is under administrative process or not through the card that they give you. if your fiance has a yellow card it means he is under AP if he has got red one then it means he is good to go within a month or so ask your fiance if we he has red or yellow one.... i got yellow which is disappointing and it clearly says that your case is under AP.

it will take 3 to 4 months and they will let me know when my visa is ready lol :)the card says

  6. I am not sure if it was yellow or not, but it was the one that says that they have his passport ,my fiance got his medical stuff yesterday and also he translated his tazkera in foreign ministry , so he gave all the missing documents yesterday and they told him that whenever the visa is ready they will call him, I guess they approved him. Hopefully he will get his visa soon. and good luck to you  Allah negahdar and kule chiza ba khudawand bespar, Inshallah hama chiz khub mesha

Thanks sister inshallah things will work out for everyone but we just need to have some patience :) but do keep us posted on your fiance visa status :)....

  7. MEDICAL TESTS:

I had my interview in kabul US embassy as well and the let me tell you about the clinic which is german dk - their staff don't know whether you are going to take the medical results or they are going to send it over but your husband should have kept on asking them whether how they are guna send it over... for me i got my results from the clinic and i took it with my self on the day of my interview. its kind of silly of the clinic people that they don't know the procedures.

    Birth Certificate Translation:

Well not sure of this one since i had made my birth certificate here in kabul and it was already translated and in both languages so this should be a different issue but i hope they didn't require a certified translation which means that then he has to certify it with forign ministry of Afghanistan as well.

OK did your fiance got a yellow card or what kinda since i got yellow one they asked me for my marriage certificate certification which i was trying to get it done for four months and am done finally just going to submitt it this week and god knows how long would this take from now on...

  8. i was asked during my interview with US Embassy in Kabul Afghanistan to submit certified marriage certificate - our marriage took place in Pakistan our marriage certificate is from Pakistan we certified it with Pakistani foreign ministry, and town office as well... but the embassy during my interview asked me to certify it with afghan government. it has been now more than three months that i am trying to get this attested by afghan government but they refuse to do so they says they certify different format of pakistani marriage certificate and my one differs which is a shock to me why on the earth i got a different format of marriage certificate. please advise me on how should i proceed should i make a new afghan marriage certificate and attest that as well or should i only submit my pakistani marriage certificate which is only attested by its foreign ministry (Pakistani foreign ministry)??

Will really appreciate your suggestions and advice on this,

  9. Ok so i had my interview back in mid June, and at the interview they said i have to notarize my marriage certificate translations - which is from pakistan and i pursued to do so but my embassy here in Pakistan denied to verify the marriage certificate and told me that i should obtain a new one from the embassy which i did so and in the meantime they issued me a letter stating that we issued a new marriage certificate and could not notarize the old one. so now here is the problem am worried if this won't create any PROBLEM to my case since am already on administrative processing and any ideas how long would it take on the yellow card it says three to four months to process my case, its been one and half year damn its driving me crazy and they also gave me that freaking 221g letter asking for translation that freaked me out seeing the word - Denied - but anyways please help me guys whether this new marriage certificate won't create any problems it has the same date of marriage as we got married on all details are same except for the witness's.

  10. My interview went good but i was asked that i have to notarize my marriage certificate from foreign ministry since my marriage certificate is from another country basically where my marriage took place, the foreign ministry says they are not able to notarize the marriage certificate and advised me that i make a new marriage certificate. ok i sent an email to US embassy that this is not possible to be notarized and how do i do about it they write to me "We need a certified Marriage Certificate from you, so whatever option best suits you, please adapt it. We cannot suggest you what and how to do? It is your own decision to go for it..." so what do you guys suggest if i make a new marriage certificate would it complicate things or things will go smoothly btw am also given Administrative processing card, which says it will take 3 to 4 months to process my case and i have not submitted this damn marriage certificate since a month now please suggest if i should make a new one i don't see any other option but people said that if i submit a new one and since am in AP my case will go to NVC and they will get confuse since they had my previous old marriage certificate and if i submit this new one things may get complicated so please advise...
