Yes I saw december interview booked long time ago as well and it scared me but those for other kind of visa, our is sooner. After NVC receives all your paperwork, it's about a month until you get an interview date. Good luck

His birth certificate, military, police, biography page from passport, passport photos, marriage license certified, immigrant visa application filled out, you don't have to translate anything. Hello Tolsab:) yes, finally we got the date, it took almost a year though since I applied, I thought for a whole process about 5-6 mo if married and spouse is american citizen but apparently its not a case. His medical exam September 20, then 10/3 interview. Good luck to all VJ friends!!! We all almost at the finish line

No I didn't get interview expedited. I actually had to resend immigrant visa application because my husband skipped 1 question completely. Then they lost our certified marriage lisence. So my husband had to send me original marriage certificate together with new immigrant visa application. So we lost about 3 weeks. My husband still thinks it took too long for a whole process.
