Should ok as long as you have other evidence of relationship. You can always ask someone at the courthouse to take a picture of you+fiancé with the judge or the clerk.
-
You have to realize that once the process starts it's very hard to change anything due to the huge amount of other cases in the system, there is no personal attention with USCIS or the Embassy, you're just a case number to them. I would suggest writing a very precise email to the Paris Embassy and ask for your case to be diverted to the embassy in BF. You could also try asking if it's possible to have the Paris interview appointment expedited instead of diverting the case so that your significant other can make it before the visa expires.

Check your local laws on marriage license, some places don't require SSN.
-
I'm sure it would be beneficial to have family at both events but if they're spaced far apart (im planning to have a court house ceremony and a religious wedding about 6 months later), it will be extremely expensive flying relatives back and forth. I think you should be alright if you get plenty of pictures of you and fiance with friends, co-workers, etc.

Depends, does your local government require an SSN to issue a marriage license? If they don't, get the SSN after the wedding in the new name.

See if you can change the topic of your post from 'support' to 'which form should i have filed' or something along those lines, might get more readers and responses.

Should have been $340 for I-129F, the $420 is for I-130...but that's for family based immigration, meaning you're already married. Did you marry your fiance already? Maybe someone else can chime in on why I-130 was filed instead of 129F, or maybe the lady doing the paperwork doesn't know the difference...has happened before
-
How much did you pay for the filing fee?
-
PAT are actually my initials
my name is Pavel.
-
I recommend downloading all the forms from USCIS and Embassy websites since the forms usually have expiration date printed on them. Forms on VJ might be of an expired version since they're meant to be used as examples.
-
Are you sure that the form you sent in said I-129F and not I-130?

I know couple of Ukrainians who got US transit visas in the past, they were also heading to Mexico. Don't think it should be difficult if you can show proof of confirmed travel (tickets, hotel, car rental)...just make sure it's all refundable or buy travel insurance that allows cancellation and refund for any reason.

Congrats!!!!

Almost all airports in US that accept international flights are considered POEs. Google 'US POE', there's actually an official list.
-
Not the same, I-129F is to bring a fiancé to United States. I-130 is for family based immigration (spouse, parents, brothers, etc)

Go to Regional Discussion --> Philippines
Using a lawyer will not expedite the process, approval time depends on work load of the Service Center the US and the Embassy abroad. All the forms are available on www.uscis.gov and the US Embassy website in the Phillipines, you could fill them all out right now if you REALLY wanted and send in when the time comes.
-
Look at the US Embassy website for the country where interview will take place.
-
Search for I-134 on www.uscis.gov website, you send it to your foreign fiancé before he/she goes for the interview at the US Embassy. Affidavit of Supports (i-134) basically documents your financial assets and says that you agree to sponsor the fiancé and that they will not become a liability for US Gov't once here.

If you don't have the 1040, you can request a tax transcript from the IRS website for several past years. They'll accept it instead of a signed 1040.

You can black out anything you want on the bank statement, except your names and address of course
This is not the stage to send statements from other people. Follow the K-1 guide on this site and you should have no issues.
-
I think you mean the K-1 visa....not F-1
-
As far as immigration is concerned, shouldn't be an issue at all. However keep in mind your local laws and regulations regarding name changes, might require a court order to have the name changed after the wedding.
-
You can send the lease with the I-129F if you want, I'm just telling you that all you have to prove at this stage of the process is that you actually met at least once in the past two years
-
If you can follow directions, you can do it yourself. Only reason to have a lawyer would be if you had some issues (criminal convictions, etc) or you absolutely hate filling out paperwork. Follow the K1 guide on this site and join the Filipino regional forum, that should take care of any questions you might have during the process.

Put the address of the Lewisville, TX office. Look in the Example Forms section, there's a template for Letter of Intent and Cover Letter.
