Ah, we don't have any assetts, so that won't help us. I'm not sure - I think getting the NVC application fee means the 1-130 was approved, but all of this is still very confusing to us.

The I-864 is the statement of support - it's the one that proves the sponsor can provide financially for the petitioner. It's a bit of a problem for me as I don't earn enough - so I'm going to have to ask a family member to help. Not real sure how to go about that yet.
We have a baby girl too. 11 months.

Sure, we're pretty fresh in the process - just getting started on the i-864 and IV applications. Yikes!
