Address? When did my fiancee become us citizen? How many time she visit me? for How long? and where did we go for the last met? how many people in the engagement party? why my fiancee's parent can't come to our engagement party? when did she finish college? the last question he ask is how much my fiancee get paid? i answered them correctly and he said please come again on 9th december at 11:00 to pick up ur visa......

hey, was the interview appointment letter (packet 4) send to your fiancé address in USA? Did your fiancé mail you the appointment letter to bring to the interview?
Yes, One USembassy sent it to my fiancee and one for me.
-
We have submitted the letter of intent since the beginning my fiancee filed the documents. Is that necessary to submit it again on my interview date?
-
Hank_Amy is Correct. A new letter of intent.
Now I need help. # 15 What is a Certificate of Celibacy ?
Certificate of celibacy is a kind of letter showing them that I'm single and never had married before.

When I seen this I SAID WHAT . On the 129-F? No requirement for an exact engagement date is needed (not even a ring for that matter.) Just Marry in 90 days is your promise/vow.
Pushbrk is correct and other responses as well as Gary's. I laughed at Gary's "Opps I made a Mistake."
If this is really going to upset you and worry. Contact your Lawyer and have him/her make an "Attachment/Addemdum" for the Original 129-F stating the date was in error, signed by your Attorney. A Fax should be fine. Take this to the interview and only show if asked.
I really don't think it will be needed though. Proof of your relationship and relevent factors are more important.
Your almost there, interview in 2 weeks.... Good Luck to you.
Thank you
-
Answer, "I know the I-129F says we were engaged on the 14th but it was really December 17. Sorry for the mistake."
Should i ask them to change the error for me before they ask? or Say sorry if they ask?
Thanks
-
Is there anything to fix it? I'm sorry worry about that now.....
-
There is not a field to fill in an engagement date but question 18 should have a statement of how you met. Often an engagement date would be part of that statement.
Please clarify exactly what mistake was made where and how.
USCIS, yes. However Consular Officers will concern themselves with and verify ANYTHING they think is important.
Yeah... On question 18, we need to describe the circumstance under which we met. the lawyer fill that question by putting our engagement date on 14th december, 2010 but we get engaged on 17th december, not 14th.
If the CO ask me when did i get engage? what should i answer?
Thank
-
Hi vj, Could u please tell me what to do coz the lawyer fill out wrong engagement date on my i-129F? I'm so scare that the CO will spot on it and they think i'm lie to them. What should i do now? i will have an interview in the next 2weeks.
Thanks
-
Hi vj, Could u please tell me some of the questions that usually the CO always ask?
What is the first question that might ask?
Thanks
-
Thank everyone in VJ, i will let you know after my interview..... Wish me luck

Do me and my fiancee need to sent National ID card to my lawyer before filling K1 visa?
-
On my I-129F paper work, Part B (Information about your alien fiance), question 3b, the layer fill out the box that my country of citizenship is USA, but actually my country of citizenship is Cambodia not USA. What should i do with that error? My interview date is on December 06, 2011. Thanks

This is the instruction for fiance non-immigrant visa applicants from u.s embassy in Cambodia.
FIRST: Completet and return by mailing immediately to this office the enclosed Form DS-230-I, Application for immigrant visa and alien registration, Part I, Biographic Data, Form I-134 (Affidavit of support), and This Form OF-169. This office cannot process your case until these forms are received.
My question are:
1. Should i attache an Original or a copy of National ID card to support the form DS-230 before i sent it to the u.s embassy in Cambodia?
2. Should i attache my fiancee's paystub, tax return (last 3years)and Job letter to support the Form I-134? Or just keep those support document to bring with on my interview date?
3. What is Form I-864 (Poverty Guideline)? Should i or my fiancee fill the form? or any other person who sponsor me?
Looking forward hearing from you.....
Thanks

Hi! I'm on the k1 case now and I wanna know should i mail ds-230, i-134, of-169 at the same time with paystub, tax return and job letter to the embassy or just only ds-230, i134 and of 169? Keep paystub, tax return and job letter to bring with on my interview day, right?
Thank

Hi..... I mailed to IVphnompenh@state.gov which is the an email of the u.s embassy in Cambodia and they said they are mailing the packet 3 to my address in Cambodia. My fiancee in the state got hard N02 on september 8th, 2011. I just wanna know when i can get that packet 3? Where i can track that packet 3?
From this link http://photos.state...._for_fiance.pdf, What should i do with it?
First, i know i should fill out the form ds-230I, I-134, and Of-169 then reply to u.s embassy in phnom penh, right? (only ds-230i, I134 and of-169, right?)
Second, Should i check on the checklist from number 1 to 14? Should i leave it uncheck if i don't have for example military support or court and prison records?
At the end of the instruction they say
Enclosures:
1- Form DS-230 (Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration).
2- DS-156K (Nonimmigrant Fiancé(e) Visa Application Form)
3- DS-157 (Supplemental Nonimmigrant Visa Application-for all Male Applicants between the age of 16 to 45, regardless of nationality or place of application.) The above forms can be downloaded from http://travel.state.gov
4- Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support). Can be downloaded from www.uscis.gov
5- Form I-864P (Poverty Guideline) Can be downloaded from www.uscis.gov
6- Medical instruction
7- Photo instruction
What does it mean? is that mean i have to bring all of this documents to the u.s embassy on my interview date?
Again and again, What i understand is to fill out the form ds-230, I-134 and of-169 and sent to u.s embassy? the rest is to bring it on my interview day, right?
Thanks for helps

Hi, Should my fiancee sign in i-134 affidavit of support form?
Thanks
How document and evidence are needed for AOS, EAD and AP?
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
Hello VJ member, I entered the state by using K1 visa and I got married with my lovely fiancee a week ago. I just wanna know what documents i need to file for AOS, EAD and AP? What kind of evidence i should collect from now on?
I heard people say they need: House lease receipt, Family phone plan, Joint bank account, photo, marriage certificate.....
Do u think it is enough? Let me know if any other documents that could make it more stronger support for AOS.....
Thanks you :)
