Hey guys,
I filled for removal on Feb25th , I got my biometrics done on 21st of March , my green card expired on May 25th and I have not gotten a letter of extension. What should I do about it? Make an infopass appoiment?!?!
Thanks

Here is what we did . We purchased the tickets in my married name so we found out that we should have gotten them in my maiden name so they will match my passport.
We called the airline and explained the mistake and they canceled our ticket and let us purchase the same ticket under my married name.

Oh I will be flying in Romania in february to see my family. Also going to Constanta because I was born there.

My question is not really related to the topic but I will ask anyway.
My passport is in my maiden name and my green card is in a different name. I purchased my plane ticket for Romania in my mariied name. Is the marriage license going to be enough?
-
Yes same here. Never got a stamp after the interview but they took my I-94. No worries tho. After your name check is done you will get the green card

I don't have a ID and I did not get my EAD card so we did not get any bills or bank account in both of our names
Did you tried to use your passport?I was able to do it all based on my passport.

From my experience with them you SHOULD bring with you everything they ask for. I had a lot of stuff with us at the interview and they never asked for anything. But you never know!

Yep green card is around the corner!!!!

Ok so I moved and sent the forms as I was supposed to. I was getting ready to call them also and I found something on the USCIS website that got my attention:
If you are not a U.S. citizen and you have a case pending with USCIS you need to do both - call customer service and complete the Form AR-11. The AR-11 is used by non-U.S. citizens to meet the legal requirements of informing USCIS of any change of address. Presently, completing an AR-11 does not update your address on any pending case.
From this i gather that if you don't have a case pending with them there is no need to call. Is it true or should I go ahead and call?

Yes you are assuming correctly.

Since I have a two year green card should I check Permanent resident on the AR-11 form or no?

Since I have the GC am I free to travel everywhere outside United States or I have to worry about getting visas for some european countries? As Romanian citizen I used to need visas to travel in Europe. Any ideas if that's still the case?

WOW! You are good!
Thx

Now that I have a two year green card should I go and remove the condition from my SSN "Valid for work only with DHS authorization?"
Thx

I just received an e-mail from USCIS(actually 7) that a welcome letter was mailed to me. The whole FBI check took two months for me so for all of you there waiting keep your heads up. There's hope!!!

Follow up with costumer service?

Is AR-11 the correct form to be used in case of address change?
Thx

I'd say your class of admission was K-1 visa, but not sure. Others might be more helpful.
No letter of extension received

Thank you much! I made an appoiment for the 19th and will have it done. I can not believe that I'm walking around with an expired green card!
