Mm, I would first find the best job you can so you can have another source of income. It looks better, (probably) especially if your dad has an income with a wide gap between his actual income and the minimum requirement for family size.

As far as transcripts go, my fiance also just had an interview and they accepted 2010 and 2009 along with stuff to prove my current income. I didn't even make CLOSE to the minimum requirement the years before haha. I'm sure you will be fine if you find another job? The process of actually getting the interview sometimes takes longer than you'd think, so you still have some time to get things moving.

About the other stuff, try asking someone who will be interviewing at the same place?

Heyy, didopage! That's awesome the rule doesn't apply to you. My fiance and I were freaking out about that in May because he was worried that applied to F-1's heh. He just visited me from France a few weeks ago and had absolutely no problems getting in besides the long wait time at customs.. they saw his F1 visa, asked if he was back for school or visiting and he just said to visit (as opposed to returning to school) and they didn't ask him for any documentation of returning. As far as I've found, the only thing I've seen about a 6 month requirement is the passport validity..

Indeed it is a test. When we get whiny about it we remind ourselves how this is the hard part. We get through this part, and everything else will seem so much easier once we can tackle it together hand in hand; and also, we will appreciate just being able to hug each other everyday. It is those little things that other couples may take for granted that I do not think (or at least hope) we ever will.

Exactly. I know a few couples who may not have married or even continued dating if they had to go through this kind of boring, patience-pushing wait time.

Mmm, definitely agree. It is also a good, real test of the strength of your relationship. The wait is worth it.

Wow, a year and a half?! That is crazy awesome you guys finally got to see each other! I filed June 1st. Maybe if we're lucky, we'll both get NOA2s on Monday.. haha.
