      POE was fine, took a bit and she missed her connecting flgiht. I haven't been on here much sorry for the late reply. We'll submit her AOS package soon.

    I heard some news, 3-5 days after the interview you'll receive the Visa, that's the average wait time now.

    We're waiting on the embassy to process her pre interview paperwork. If all goes well, I know she will have her interview date back in a week or so; how long do they schedule interviews out, 2 weeks, 30 days, a few months?..

      Hey Paul! from what i understand most AMERITURKS have gotten their Visa from 3 to 5 days !!! Which is great! I am hoping the slammed interview scheduling they have been doing wont slow it down! I will let you know! 9 days and 4 hours away!!! Thanks for the Positive thoughts! ANd Looking forward to all of us being through thispart!

      Turkeyluvr, Oyku sent it on the 12th of Sep, the Embassy got it the next day and she received an email from the embassy with our date on the 21st of Sep. So it took 9 days. It normally takes 7-10 days from what I know. You can't call them. Your best bet is to email the Embassy from their home page, you'll need the case number.

      MicheleandBahadir, thank you. She is worried about buying tickets a few weeks after the interview before it's approved. So far there have been no issues, and I told her don't worry about. Alot of other people (different countries) all gave her worst case information and horror stories. Everyones case is different, but what you told me is even faster than I though, I figured 7-10 days. Thank you.

    Checked the USCIS site tonight and it's approved. It's on the way to the NVC. Some good news to a rough week.

    I'm still figuring stuff out on here, thanks for the add also. Yep I am down here. Gluck in the move, Orlando is nice. I hope it all works out for you also, I'm only 2 months into the process but see horror stories, and then some people done in 4-5 months it is nuts. Gluck and keep in touch.

      i think you should make atleast one post on any forums here on vj in order to add friends, that's what i did before when i started vj coz i also can't see the "add me as friend" icon before.
