my wife had a friend that was asked for dubai certificate at interview so she was told to come back after she got it. ( we wasnt going to get one cos sum people said not needed. so to play it safe we went ahead and got it.) btw.... my wife had to go to uae embassy in manila to to get requirements which is go to nbi to get fingerprints on securty paper. so nbi will send fingerprints dfa (dept of foreign affairs). this will take 5 days. then she went to dfa to pay 100+ pesos to get red ribbon then she took all paperwork to dhl inside dfa to send to uae embassy in manila after they recieve it they send it to my wife then she had to send it to her friend in dubai so she could go get police certicate at police headquarters then send back to my wife so she could have it at interview. and they did ask her for the police certifcate at interview..... this was our journey to get police certifcate frum dubai

Thanks Me and Him...now I just found out she might need a police certificate from UAE Dubai and they told me it wasnt needed. always something he he he!

my wife needed one frum dubai also tom it will take awhile to get ....wasnt easy....

Hey, I'm still here, too. Amy and Serena arrived on December 30. Last weekend, on March 3rd, we were married in a small but beautiful ceremony. I have video that I'll be uploading to YouTube later tonight. In the mean time, here's a pic of us together in the receiving line. In the mean time, we're moving on to AOS. However, that doesn't mean that we're not still pulling for you, Tom and Katman.

hello everyone wanted to update the online delta.com flight i purchased i looked at my reciept and the purchase line said webmnl so i guess they route the purchase thru manila office wen bought online also to be sure i had her call manila office to ask also and they said everything was fine i just need to go by delta office near me and verify card and id she will be coming on jan.24th and we are so excited we cant wait to be together again. good luck everyone......

Go ahead and follow Delta's instructions about going to the airport with your ID. I'm sure it will be okay. However, I would have your mahal find the local Delta office to have her e-ticket re-issued at the Philippine office a few days before departure. We had to do that with Amy when she flew Korean Air. However, they seemed to be more strict in terms of following the rules in the Philippines. They won't even allow a person to look at flight schedules or purchase tickets from their website if they are in the Philippines. Other airlines, such as Continental and Delta, seem to have no problems with allowing purchases from the Philippines online.

reissued? I heard that rumor before but we didn't have any problem. I bought our tickets for ANA online thru vayama. I had to buy them separate because hers was a one way. Brought the printouts and they gave us our boarding passes.

omg im so confused now ray-j told me having the ticket issued in the philippines i called delta 3 times talked to 3 differant people asking them about that they all assured me it would be ok to get it online but id have to go to delta office at atlanta airport to verify credit card and my id..... i have seen others say they bought theres online i assumed delta knows this and would have a system to run the purchase through the office in the philippines.

tom i did buy it on delta.com website the agent asured me it ok to buy it there. my soon to be asawa has already told me she will not be bring much things so theres no worry bout over weight baggage she wants to leave from manila so she can spend a couple days with her younger sister and cousin that live in manila before she leaves to u.s.a .

tom delta dont fly outta cebu but i got her yicket last night mnl to atlanta changing planes in nrt tokyo,japan i will get her ticket philippine airlines cebu to manila the day before she will stay with her cousin and go to airport in the morning mnl to atl on delta taxes included 875.00 pal ceb to mnl 30.00 heck lot better than korean air 2000 +

hahaha yeah believe or not cebu to atlanta,ga one way on korean air. Lowest ive seen is 1,800 most are 2,000 + so she will most likely fly delta same route 1,162.00

I just brought my fiancee to the US from Manila. I went through a travel agent and had her fly Korean Air. There is a law that all airline tickets must be issued in the Philippines, but Korean Air will take an e-ticket and re-issue at their office in Makati for free. Just make sure this is done about 3 days prior to departure. You will spend a little more on 3rd party fees going through a travel agent, but it will be worth it. As for needing to see the credit card I used to purchase, all Korean Air was able to see in their system was that the ticket was purchased through a travel agent. The method of payment is between you and the agency.

thx ray-j although i think korean air is the best airline ive ever flown on its outta my price range right now at 2000 + 1 way to usa so ima go with another airline. Also thx for da tip bout buying ticket in the rp....

I had my interview this morning, and my visa is APPROVED!!!!! I am so happy, OMG!!!!! The only sucky thing is that they said it will take 7 business days till I get the visa... I am ready to go now! But I am happy I was approved, and right now that's all that matters. Thank you May Filers Family for all your support!!!

katman how you know they havnt recieved yet? after our noa2 i waited a week then started calling to see if they recieved ours and it was always hasnt reached our office yet.....ugh.. i called all week same thing i went to get my mail outta mailbox fooling monday and they sent me a letter saying they recieved it last week and sent on to manila embassy .....so to make this short hehehe... you may have to wait on the letter..
