I passed my interview on May 7th and i was told that if i have to add my dad's name as middle name i have to go through judicial ceremony,

its been almost 90 days but still i am waiting for my oath ceremony to be scheduled.

It shows below status on USCIS website

"We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number NBC*XXXXXXX, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date."

I just wanted to reach out and see , if any one else is also waiting for Judicial oath ceremony in Atlanta.

i got my CR1 spouse visa approved on 13th Feb at mumbai consulate

my concern is that in my passport my name is " Mihir Alias Maulik Dashrathbhai Soni" but in my visa its showing "Mihir Dashrathbhai Soni"

my concern is that is this is a mistake and when i go to usa, in what name my green card will come

as i want my Green card to be as per my passport

you will need it at the time of interview , so you have long way to go

us photo means the sepcifications have to be of us

you can go to any photo shop and say , you need 2 x 2 passport photo and they will get u

whts the last update you got from NVC

You have to state your intent as to why you need the certificate. Once you put Visa for USA they want to see a DOS generated official interview letter.

You can not falsely claim its for a domestic job or something of that nature as they print on the certificate what the intention of the passport clearance certificate is valid and generated for.

Thanks for your input, i will try and get the PCC but one more question is that can i send the scan copy of my PCC to NVC or do i need to send hard copy only ?

welll i have received RFE from NVC for providing Passport police certificate

my passport is issued on 21st Nov 2011 , when i approached my passport office they said , as my passport is not 6 months old , passport police certificate is not required

when i approached my Ahmedabad police commissioner office they also said the same that as my passport is not older than 6 months , they cannot issue me police clearance certificate

can any body help me if they have gone through similar scenario

well documentation is also important but it is determined from where you belong if you are Gujarati and staying in Mumbai from birth and havnt learn gujarati thn also you need to write it in Gujarati

I filed I 130 for my wife and she had her interview on September 20,2011 and she got denied because they said require more sponsor. I am wondering how long will it took to approve after i have submit new sponsor. My wife will get document on Monday October 10, 2011 and she will submit document in VHS office in Ahemedabad India. Is any one know how long she has to wait to get her visa.

Hiee well first can you please tell me why you needed new sponsor , is it so that your salary is below poverty line ?

well i think once your wife submits the documents to VFS , she will get the visa in like 10 to 15 days time max

i am also waiting for my interview , my wife is back thr in usa and i am in ahmedabad

same is my case , ysterday i was checking that they are processing May 22 fillers and today they are showing its May 16

its really frustrating , my I797 date is May 31st , approx when i can expect my NOA2
