  1. No confirmation from NVC either. Every time I call I get the same answer "It'll 15 business days for it to be in our system" whats up with that? Others have theirs 5-7 days. Guess NVC works the same way as CSC and VSC - in random order LOL

Someone will open up the box and take a glance on your case any time this month.

Thats the only good thing about Vermont, The NVC is right next door in NH. It only takes like 2 days to get it there. And there arent as many to process unlike california. hehe My VIsa is in route, I have been tracking it through DHL. SHould be delivered to the embassy at some point today.

  2. Happy Memorial day all. Hope that there will be plenty of Approvals this week. I am glad I am one of the fortunate ones who was approved this past week. It's very unfortunate to see this whole debate about CSC vs VSC, But I will share my own experience with you guys. My friend here also filed for her BF in the Philippines. She filed at the end of Jan, and she got a RFE the 2nd week of March, approved end of march, and he will be here on Wednesday. I kept asking her what did you do to get processed so fast? I was very pesemistic, and just thought that it would take the whole 5 months to get approved. So last monday when I was eating dinner, I looked at my phone and got my text saying WAC11902-xxxxx was updated. So when you least expect it, it will come. And when it does, it will make your day. One step closer.... Thanks for reading my rant

  3. So I've been lurking around the forums to look for a list of "other requirements required by the counselor" but am having 0 luck. Can anyone share their SMEF-COW experience and what other requirements, besides those listed in the website, were asked from you. I'd hate to go there and find out I'm missing a document or two. Thank you in advance! :)

    Just bring everything =)

  4. hi my fellow march filers:) how's everybody? are they still approving february filers? can't wait for our turn  i've been checking my timeline here and keeps on changing almost every week or sometimes every other day it changes  how realiable it is really is the timeline here on vj? any idea? well i hope it will really works coz it says that i'm expecting it on june30th

Don't get discouraged. Your application is at California, and from what I have seen they seem to process faster than normal..... We had 4 NOA1 from March 9 approved today....

  5. Damn Congratulations! but question... was it an expedite?? or just a normal approval?

    Matthew & Carolina

It was just normal approval. The only thing I think I did differently was I paid with a Postal Money Order. I express mailed my Packet 03/04, it arrived 03/06. Receive date was 03/07, got a text on 03/10 saying application was received, official notice to follow. And got my NOA1 on 3/11. Like I said the only thing I think I did different was paying with the postal Money Order. Thats kinda like cash.

  6. =) I got a text message today saying My case is now updated. Went online and Checked. This is what it said:
