  1. Received our NVC interview date email today. Under Document status for financial evidence an E appears with no corresponding explanation. Anyone know what the E means?

    F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE E

    Explanations provided

A = Applicant must acquire this document and present it at the time of the interview.

C = Direct inquiries to your consulate / embassy

  2. I see from the South African country portal, that someone who had a case complete date 3 days after ours received a September Interview. The NVC operator has informed us that we missed the September interview dated due to consulate capacity constraints. Does anyone know how the NVC allocate interview dates? Do certain types of VISA's have preference over other? thanks in advance

  3. I phoned this morning and the operator told me that we have missed the September interview dates, and would have to phone back 20th September to see if we made the October dates. Can anyone confirm if the NVC does do continuous interview scheduling. Case complete was 10 August 2011. Has anyone got any experience with interview dates at the Johannesburg consulate? The timeline data has very few cases loaded to really get any clear idea. Thanks in advance for any replies.

  4. Fantastic news, case complete according to AVR 10th August 2011!!!. Phoned the NVC and asked what the likely interview date would be? and was told that unfortunately their was no availability in August but would have to wait until the second week in September to see if it might happen in September. This does not make any sense to me, as I would have thought they have the Johannesburg consulate's available dates into the future, and would be able to schedule the interview even if it was October. Anybody know how the system works and how long it should take before getting an interview date?

  5. Approval received for I-140 on 24th March 2011, still no case number. Lawyer has phoned TSC premium processing unit who say they have requested file but it has not been received and the file has not yet been sent to the NVC. What do I do? Anyone got any ideas as to how to get this file found and sent to the NVC?
