yes, we tried calling the embassy. and emailing their american citizen services. they honestly aren't much help. we started calling them after rahul's visa was approved but not showing up at VFS - they will give you the run around and just send you to a line that never picks up..extremely frustrating....

Call me proactive! I just sent an email to my state senator (the democrat - probably the party you want to go with when dealing with immigration lol) to let him know I will be travelling for a K1 interview and we may need his offices assistance if we are denied or placed in AP. Now let's see if my vote will earn me a response!

Call NVC today, they received our petition and are sending it back to New Delhi for 2nd interview today...WHOO-HOO!!!!
