take the original for everything if you have it if you dont copy maybe for the police certificate you can get another original. I remember my husband got another one in no time. (jordan is fast for that) when we went to our interview in jordan I bought everything with me its better to be safe than sorry I think your also going to need (duftar il 3lea) family book.

hey,, i get an appointment letter on Oct 7,for an interview on Oct 20

You are definitely past the date. Have your SO call USCIS and tell them that your case was returned from the embassy and that the embassy returned it on Dec 20th. Ask them to please put in a service request for you. Your case should start moving again from that point. Just keep up with your dates.

Make sure to do this or it could take a lot longer.

You have to really watch your case at this point to make sure there are no mishaps.

When a case is reaffirmed and sent back to the embassy...each embassy is different at this point on a reaffirmed case. The embassy will notify you and give you an appointment and let you know what to do. The Amman embassy ask for "he will need to bring new medical, new police certificate , his passport, 2 photos and forms ds230 (1,2).". I wouldnt do any of this until it gets to that point because like i said...every embassy treats reaffirmed cases differently.

The most important thing right now is the service request.

i would like to as you a question . . . in the interview day,, should i have bring original police certificate , cause as you know... for IV package NVC ask us to send them Original police certificate and i did.. and now the embassy wants another one.. what the hell of that.. i made one from CIS before and i cant do another one now because it take 2 weeks to have and there is no time because my interview next week.. so can i take with me just copy , i mean is the embassy will approve that.

Guys im soo tired of waiting I get soo depressed and sad being away from my husband. This waiver is taking to damn long. I don't wanna see anyone or do anything I've had enough I just want to leave. I know everyone on this forum feels the same im soo fedup!

i would like to share this,, i got today an email from NVC.. my interview is on OCT 20, 2011.. AM SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY.. but i need help.. what to take to me in the interview they send me list but all the original documents i sent them before to the NVC.. do i have to take with me original marriage certificate,, i sent that .. please anyone can help u and give.

1- PASSPORT

2- MEDICAL EXAM

3- MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE (COPY OR ORIGINAL) WHAT TO TAKE

4- Police certificate( i sent the original to the NVC ) is it ok to take copy

5- Pictures (wedding, engagment, honeymoon, together)

6- Invitation wedding card

7- Tickets

8- Chat from skype ( we called each other from MAGIC JACK) so i dont have records.

they said in the email about AOS from my huz.. (they approved it but do i have to take copy)

I was hoping we would be on the November list....NVC says there standard line...."appointments are made the second week of each month, please call back at that time"

hello every one my wife case still pending from 03/24/2010 untel today 10/25/2010 first of all after the interview she was missing here bc we send it on 03/25/2010 and told us we are on a/p on may 19 2010 thay send email saying as of may 19/2010 send your passport it take 5 to 14 dayes to get your visa. we did on may 20/2010 aftar 13 days thay call my wife for 2end interview thay ask about sister name and thier kides name not majar q.and in the end my wife ask is every thing ok thay say it ok ,and thay dont give here any thing and thay kepet here passpot since my 20/2010?we been sending eamil to the embassy back home thay said under rivew ,i call dos same thing.so i dont know what happen here it been 4 month since the 2end interview.and 6 month since the first inetrview.3 weeks ago i called my congrsswoman she told me to send all the info i did that iam just waiting on thier respond ? just you know i apply for cr1 for my wife i even have ason he born back home he have american passport.so any one have this kind of case or any idaia what to do .thank you

Hi Diana...Thank you so much for your reply. My husband, Maher is from Kraimeh but he lives in Jubaiha with friends on weekends and teaches Chemistry in Ma'an during the week. He does not understand the process about the Police Certificate. It would help if he knew someone like your husband to tell him exactly what he needs to at the Police Department. I know he has at least 3 months to get this but when he does the document he needs, he will email to me for English translation.

I know my reply maybe late... The police certificate he can get it anytime from (Al mokahbarat al 3amey) GID...there are 2 in(ABDALI or from (al-jandaweel).... it take 2 weeks to have it.. just he will go and apply a form and then he will get it ..

please share if anyone is still waiting.. because i heard that the embassy is always full and all of Yemen come to our embassy to get their interview here.. because their embassy is closed... and i heard other countries 2.

I got my case closed Sept 21!

Called NVC couple times last week, they also said they TRIED to schedule, and said all I could do was wait! The case is not even in the Embassy by this time, so as a matter of fact, what CAN I do?

They never even told me that we could contact the embassy ourselves?

I am sooo lost on what to do right now?

Mine was complete on Sept 21st. And still no news. Also said 'call back second week of Oct. But they sure cant tell me when I would get an interview. From what I read on here, so many ppl get so many diffrent info on this by so many diffrent operators! This is frustrating, I'm lost on what to do really!

my case was completed on Sep 7th 2011.. and stil i didnt recieve email from NVC.... i called them and they said that Sep is full and OCT 2... and that i should call them on the 2nd week of Oct to know if my interview on Nov or no.. I hope it will be on Nov.. ... i mean r they honest or jusy saying that...

hi,, if u have done all ur papers and nothing is missing.. or the nvc will not request any paper RFE.. for IV or AOS.. THEN u keep calling the NVC.. and talk with operator and they will tell u that ur case complete... or AVR messege.. will tell u that your case was completed on..... they will not send u an email. you should always call them to know.. I got CC on the 19th, but my question is i can still log on in the portal payment of nvc, is this normal? I'm really hoping we can still get an october intreview but unfortunately the operator says its full and we just call back on the 2nd week of oct. for the novermber schedule.

(i want my SIF ) ,,, and i called the NVC yesterday .. they said also Sep is full and OCT is full 2, and they told me to call back on the 2nd week of oct for nov schedule.. i hope my interview will be on NOV.. and u 2.. Hello Everyone,I have a question in regards of my case. I filed for the I-130 for my husband it got approved and then my lawyer filed for the I-129f and that is approved as well . We paid for the AOS and IV online. Would anyone be able to tell me what is next after the AOS and the IV are paid? Also if I am getting closer to the end? Thanks inadvance.

hey ,, congrats.. the next step to send both package... IV package and AOS package with cover sheet both of them,, u can find them in the website when u paid them.. then the NVC will review both packages,,, and if everything ok and nothing is missing.... u case will complete and then they will forward ur papers to the embassy.....and schedule an interview .... hehehehe... now my case was completed on Sep 7th 2011.. after review both packages.. now am waiting them to send me appointment letter i hope sooon ... good luck

Many of us who have recently got our cases complete have not gotten SIF. I got the appointment letter with interview date the next day via email. Up to today I can still sign into the payment portal. How soon you get your interview date will largely depend on how busy your consulate is and whether they have available dates on which to schedule your interview.

Is it correct the below:

SIF: IF YOU ALREADY GOT SIF AND FOLLOWED BY CC, NVC WILL SCHEDULE VISA APPOINTMENT FOR THEM WITH SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. LIKE 1-3 MONTHS.

CC: IF YOU ONLY GOT CC WITHOUT SIF, I MEAN YOU CAN STILL SIGN INTO PAYMENT CENTER. IT IS GOING TO DELAY YOUR SCHEDULE. LIKE 3-6 MOMTHS.

my case was completed on Sep 7th, 2011 , but still no SIF... OR interview date,, am from Jordan.. and am soo worry that the if i got CC without SIF , then the interview will take long. anyone got his Case complete on SEP.. please share.

Not a problem. This was the information we were given when we contacted NVC. Since our case number was generated on the 12th of August we missed the deadline for September. The only reason we got an interview this month was due to expedition. I've spoken to NVC myself many times and that's the information they have told me every time. The only time the embassy will schedule it is if your case is expedited. As long as your paperwork is in and been reviewed you would make the cutoff. They even told me the cutoff of next month is the 14th of

14th of October for November. Sorry if this isn't the case.
