    We fly out of Istanbul to New York Sunday morning. SO NERVOUS about how long it will take to get through JFK POE. He's never flown before-a lot of firsts for him. Anyone have any tips?

      YAY!! That's so great! I always go through JFK. This airport is really confusing. So, just be patient. They are actually quite friendly at that passport control. Just smile, don't be nervous and have all papers ready to go when you get there. So exciting!!!! It's a long flight, so take books and if you're flying Delta, remember that they are the VERY last counter at Istanbul airport. H I believe. I can't wait to hear how your trip went and how h...

      Tolga has only flown the 1 hour flight from Izmir to Istanbul himself. Let me know how your husband does.

      Thanks for letting me know how POE is =D I hope it doesn't take more than an hour, but I'm prepared for longer for him. We fly in through American Airlines-think that's terminal 8 at JFK-flying out Iberia from IST. IST airport confuses me lol
