I was in Jamaica 07/2009 doing a missionary health fair. The last night of the fair the participants went out to celebrate the success of the event. At the same spot that night my future husband was there celebrating his birthday. He caught my eye but let him tell it....he saw me first. He asked me to dance and we have not stop dancing since....

It has been a very long journey for us but it is soon coming to a close (finger crossed :) ) Through that time I have lost my love ones, had to move, and dealing with incarceration of a close family member. Through it all I have learned patients and the power of prayer. In the beginning I thought it was so unfair that I had to go through this journey but in the end I have learned so much. I took the time to learn my husband and build our communication skills. I have built a partnership that will surely help in the next stage of our lives as a couple. I hope that everyone's journey will end soon.
Thanks for all the prayers for my DAD....he has unfortunately lost his battle with cancer. He is now reunited with so many that have been lost. I miss him so much right now but I can say I am proud that he was my DAD. #GOneBUtNeverForgotten
