  1. I have not received the packet yet, but I just called and scheduled my appointments. My ASC appointment is on Monday June 6th and my interview is on Tuesday June 7th, I will call the Clinic tomorrow to schedule my Medical Exam. I feel pretty good about it, as these dates still give me another week or so to get my letter before I leave to CDJ and if my letter isn't here by then i'll just have to see if I can get it printed at the window. Wish me luck!!

  2. call the 703 # and once you get someone on the line tell them everything all over again, when they (as always) say there's nothing they can do, ask to talk to a supervisor. ask the supervisor to put in a report that'll force the consulate to look over your case and provide a solution to your lack of invitation letter.

also, why don't you try contacting the consulate directly through here: https://ciudadjuarez...quiry_form.html it might take a few days but at least you'll receive a legitimate answer, none of that bull ####### they tell you at the call center. i'm still waiting on their answer but i'll let you know what they tell me. you should go ahead and contact them though no use in wasting a day.

Thank you for that info!! I just filed a public inquiry at the consulate website and will be calling the 703# tomorrow to talk to a supervisor. I am thinking that if I don't get a straight answer by Friday I am just going to go ahead and schedule my appointment and interview and head to CDJ anyway, maybe I can somehow get them to print the letter at the consulate window (which they told me over the phone was something they could do), or may be they will just let me go through the process with the confirmation email they will send me.

  3. I'm on the same boat, CDJ sent my letter on May 4th, it has now been three weeks and I haven't received anything, so I called and asked about my options. They said I did not need to wait and that I could go ahead and schedule everything and that I would not need the appointment letter. However I am confused, because I have gotten so much misinformation from the call center that I do not know if I will need the letter or not. The instruction packet clearly states to bring your appointment letter to the medical examination and to the consular interview.

  4. so if my USC fiance gets the letter first, can he just email it to me and I can set my interview and do the rest with hiS letter????

Yes, I have read reviews from other members who have already finished the process and they mentioned they never received the letter in Mexico, but were able to schedule and do their interviews with the letter they received in the US.

  5. It should also be sent to the petitioner in the US.. we're in the same boat as you now.. just hoping that the mail system here won't fail us and we'll somehow get packet 3 lol.

It's been reported that the people you talk to on the phone from the consulate don't know what they're talking about and often give out incorrect information

Yes, before I found this forum I probably called the call center everyday, and surely enough, every time i called i got different answers to the same questions. I guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope the mail gets the packet to us soon. Best of luck to you!!

  6. If you are refering to P 3 it is sent to her. You may be able to view & download it from the embassy web site. You could fill out the forms to email to her. Do not forward them to the embassy until you are certian the embassy has the case.

I have all the forms and instructions which I downloaded off the embassy website, so I have all my documents ready. But I need the letter that comes with the packet which is addressed to me for the medical examination and to be allowed into the consulate, this is the only reason why I have to wait for the packet. Do you know if this letter will be in the packet my fiancee gets as well?

    Thank you!

  7. Hi everyone!!

So I called CDJ two weeks ago and they informed me that my packet had been sent on May 4th. They said I should expect anywhere from two to four weeks to receive the packet as it is sent through regular mail. I had read somewhere in the forum that the packet is not only sent to my address but also to my fiancee's address in the US. However when I called today to ask if it had been sent to her address they told me it is only sent to the petitioners address. I have gotten wrong information from the call center before so I wanted to see if anyone here knows anything regarding the packet and if it is indeed sent to both addresses. I have all my documents ready and I am only waiting for the letter to arrive, any information y'all can give me is appreciated.

    Thanks!!!

  8. Hi! I'm new here, but so far this forum has been really helpful in answering the many questions I have about the process. I am currently waiting for my fiancee packet to arrive, it was sent from CDJ on May 4th so I am hoping it will either be here or at my fiancee's in the US soon. I want to make sure I have everything ready so that I can just go ahead and schedule appointments and go to CDJ once my packet gets here and I had a couple of questions regarding the documents I need to bring with me. I downloaded the fiancee packet from the CDJ website and it says that I need proof of my fiancee's US citizenship, and it also mentions financial solvency documents. When we sent all our information to USCIS we sent all this information they ask for, my fiancee sent copies of her passport, an original and copy of her birth certificate, we also sent a form sent by my sponsor(my father in law) to prove financial support, and sent a bunch of photographs, plain ticket confirmations, letters, etc... as evidence of our relationship. My question is will I need to get all of these things again and take with me to the appointment and interview or will CDJ already have this information?

    Thank you!!
