    Eduardo is finally here!! It feels so great to be with him again... And I promise to write Embassy and POE reviews as soon as I get time to put together a thoughtful response!

    Just 2 weeks from today Eduardo has his interview! Can't wait!!

    Got an email from the Embassy today with Eduardo's appointment letter and all the other packet 3 stuff. Getting closer!

    41 days until Eduardo's interview... Counting down the days!

    I called DOS today and Good News! Our papers arrived in Guatemala Yesterday. Hopefully just a few more days of processing and Eduardo can call and set up his interview!

      Oh, and he will get a letter with the interview date, he will not have to call to "set it up", but it's always a good idea to call to let them know that he is "pendiente" of his case.

      Thanks for the good vibes! I'm hoping real hard for that November date! And good to know about the letter... Eduardo lives 2.5 hours away from the capital so I told him to call, just in case, to make sure however they send it through the mail, that it actually ARRIVES in Solola. The Guatemalan mail system is far from reliable...

    October 19th?!? Wow. It's hard to believe that he could be with you in just a little over a month. I'm sure it will not be a day too soon! I'm counting down with you!

    Called NVC today to see if our papers had made it yet. THEY HAVE and I got the case number. When I asked when it may be forwarded to the Embassy in Guatemala, she said "I don't know, maybe next week." I hope she's lying.

    Just got an email saying: "On September 2, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)." APPROVED. Gracias a Dios!

      Thanks guys! I know we have plenty of more waiting to do but at least we are one hurdle down!

      @Ran4jenny I hope it continues to move this... fast? (my ability to gauge to speediness has been destroyed by this process) Good luck to you!
