  1. No news here...:o so before I totally panic, I'm calling USCIS. Any tips on the type of questions I should ask? cause right now all I want to know is WHEN is it coming? IS THERE anything wrong with my application? IS there a HOLD? and pardon my french, but WHAT the ((F) (F) (F) ) is holding this up? *cough* Ok back to reality, dear omnipotent USCIS person who holds my future in thy hands, can you kindly inform me on the status of my application? Second approach somehow seems much better...

  2. So we moved and I was panicky about the address change and what if I missed the letter and even if I did the whole forwarding my mail process.... but I guess nobody is getting approved in Vermont yet, huh! I did the electronic change of address.

Not sure I have to mail anything, do I?

I guess we're all still waiting. Good Luck Chaps!

  3. I'm just checking in!

My bio appointment went pretty well. I drove 4 hours ahead of schedule and got stuck in traffic for an hour. Still, I was REALLY early but they took me in and I was done in 10 minutes. Pretty easy ordeal.

    QUESTIONS:

:help: My MrSki never did file a change of address when we moved from Florida. I did mine TWICE (online and mail). Should we file now?

:help: We are moving in 4 weeks: we're building a house and Woohoo! it's ready! but do we file again for that change of address?

    Thank you all!

    Happy 4th of July!!!!!

  4. We filed on the expiration date of my GC this Saturday (VT office). I'm worried sick about it! During all my immigration filings (and there've been many), I was never late but with baby, work, building a house, and two dogs, I procrastinated. My hubby gave me the lecture.. anyways, technically we did file before the 90 days expired. I'm hoping that would count for something.

I sent them "a book" of papers:

    * Marriage certificate

    * Hubby's passport showing international trips for our wedding abroad

    * Daughter's birth certificate, social security card, and medical record by the state (she was a preemie)

    * Insurance: Cars, renter's, life. In the rush I forgot to send mine *panic!* but I sent his.

    * 401K: showing beneficiaries and balance

    * Tax Returns: from 2008 - 2010 we filed jointly

    * Bills: cable, water, electric, student loans, daycare, cars (they're both on my name though, but the money comes from the joint bank account.

    * Bank Statements: savings and checking statements from 2008 - 2011

    * Lease for the last 1 1/2 years. We went through a corporate relocation in 2009 that took us from FL to PA.

    * New House: Filed Every paper signed and all the mortgage information

    * Pictures: I sent pictures when we were dating, wedding pictures, pictures of our weekends in the great outdoors (every weekend), pictures of trips to TN, VA, WA, TX, pictures of our wedding abroad, pictures of the pregnancy, pictures of the hospital bed rest (ugly ugly ugly), pictures of the delivery of our 3 pound munchkin, pictures of the 8 weeks at the Neo-natal intensive care unit, pictures of the baby though her first year. *pictures pictures pictures*

Hopefully I didn't overdo it. This is the first time I have filed without using an attorney so we're a bit nervous. We'll feel much better once the filing gets approved.

    Good luck to us all!!!
