OMG , can you believe i was about to post to you saying that it doesn't mean anything bad and just wait few more days

Updated: I could not sleep last night
This morning instead of working, I started to search for my 2 senators and my U.S. Rep. I sent all 3 e-mails to them this morning 
That's how serious I am. And this afternoon I don't have a feeling of working at all. Instead of sitting in my office, I took a 2 hours lunch time and go do nothing around the cafeteria
My inner-self said go do something more. I started to call USCIS after 1 day of my interview. The Tier 1 guy said, just wait Sir. It's only 1 day. I insisted that my VJ adviser told me to talk to Tier 2. To my surprise, the lady on Tier 2 said it was approved yesterday. I think my IO approved after her lunch time. Thanks to the food she ate

Congrats rheanick! What did the IO ask and how did your interview go?
by the way IO was reading from Q paper and the Q i had was the first 6 ones in a list and i noticed most of other cases had the same Q .
it should be many other lists as well, so check other peoples Q too ,just trust God & be honest

Is your oath in the morning ..Can you travel to one of these location immeidately after ceremony http://travel.state....encies_913.html
If yes, than you can have the oath and go to passport service agency and get the passport same day. You may need prior appointment so take the appointment for July 3rd today itself, based on oath time and travel time.
If not, than I would say postpone the oath and enjoy the oath after coming back.

my ceremony appointment at 12 or 1 noon in Wilmington, NC !! and i live it Raleigh NC which is 2:30 housr away from my home ..
the nearest passport location from these agents to me is the Washington DC (4:30 hour Driving )
i really don't know what to do !! i should be happy at this point but its really confusing and disappointing I now have 2 options eaither ;
1- cancel my trip for all my family or delay it & waist my kids summer vacation and pay $150 each ticket ( that if i found another flight in the 4th or 5th ) = $750 + the air fair differences
2- postponed my Oath ceremony and i heard lot of people gets in a real delay because of this (from almost a year up to 4 years) risky.

Congratulations Dedee, great news
Is there a passport office near you that you can make an appointment at to go and get same day passport? If so call and make an appointment for the earliest time possible, like 0730 in the morning and take with you a copy of your flight booking. I realize you wouldn't get in until the day of wedding, but at least you wouldn't miss it an you would be a US Citizen, so a double celebration.
As for changing your Oath date I have no answers, although I am sure others will have knowledge about it.

I just came from my interview while ago . I have to say my io wasn't friendly and it took like 20 min after 30 min waiting
I had a waiver before regarding an old deportation in 1997
The officer asked me all the application Q and asked me to explain what happened to be deported (even I had a waiver ).Then he asked me for the test
1. What is the supreme law of the land?
2. What is an amendment?
3. Who vetos bills?
4. What is the capital of your state?
5. What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?
6. Who did the United States fight in World War II?
Then i was informed to read following: "Where is the white house?
then he asked me to write " the white house is in Washington DC
After that he give me a smile
and said I congratulation I am going to recommend ur case for approvalYaaayBut now I have a little problem I have a family wedding overseas on July 5th and my ceremony is in July 3rd. Which will cut my whole summer since I am traveling this Sunday
What do u guys recommend me to do ? Is it easy and secure to postponed my ceremony or is it better to postponed my trip ?( to much money )
Do u know if I can have my ceremony somewhere else ? Where exactly to get what other dates available ? Or now to postponed it till I am back

Hey congrats...Is the oath in St.Louis? I see oath in St.Louis on 22nd but not in Kansas city, MO.
There is a special oath infront of St.Louis arch on July 3rd. It would have been awesome to be taken oath there.
Hey . How do you see that will be an oath time anywhere ? Anyone tells me if there is an oath in Raleigh nc tomorrow ? Or any idea to check the dates . Updating JandC's local USCIS office and some of my details.
Quick question, my I-797C NOA states:
"Upon receipt of all required Record Checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office."
Does that mean I will not need to do the Bio? Does anybody who had to do the Bio have that on their NOA also? Thanks!

congrats ... i just had my interview 2/28 and the officer wonder why do i even need one , he got me approved and now waiting for my card ..
i guess i am the last one who applied October 2010
it was a very long waiting (17 month),, good luck all -
What about infopass appointment?
i did called them again just now and they gave me an email address to ask about my concern and they said they should answer me within 30 days

Dont' worry gigi673, if you made an inquiry and they sent you an email saying that a decision will be made within 60 days of the email. you will definitely hear something by then. And for the change of address, don't know what to tell you, but keep on calling and make sure that they have the one that you did change online, and if you haven't done so, give them the confirmation number you was giving when you changed it online because that's your proof.

Yeah since your friend will be checking your mail, enjoy your vacation and don't worry. Just make sure that you can take the first flight in case you have an interview. And for the expired green card you don't need it anymore since it has expired. So no worry about that. Have a safe trip.

I think you need make phone to Uscis,and you need inquiry to speaking for IO,because the regular phone sevicer who guy not has any helpful to you,they only do little something ,try it,ask about anything about you case,and make sure you have miss mail.god bless you my friend,I endlish not good,sorry!hope go smoothly done.

God is good Dedee you will hear something before your 60 days end. I mean what's the worst that can happen? Maybe you getting an interview and i am sure you will do just fine. i know the wait is not easy but trust it will happen. God Bless you.
Thanks didi, i am just traveling oversea all summer time and i will be back before my daughter school .. i just hoped to receive it before i leave ,,
when i went to infopass to stamp my passport with 551 extention the offecer said since my GC expired he took it from me and stamped my passport one year and i didnt like that but he said its no longer working and he must take it ...
my friend will check our mail and let me know any update ..

Just a correction :
I am not a USC yet
since I send a request to rescadual my Oath ceremony for a later date in Augusy ( I can't beleive I did that ) .
Since I am overseas in a summer trip .
I received a confirmation for my cancelation and still waiting to know my next available Oath ceremony date witch I hope it be by end of August or early September ..
Wish me luck and fix my red color format or now
