I am an Indonesian, married with US citizen in May 2010. We were married in Jakarta, where I live. My husband lives and works in New Jersey.
We sent the I-130 on June 2010, and got NOA1 on July 2011. But had been approved by USCIS on March 2011 (8 months, finally).
It's through NVC for the visa process start on April 2011, and CC on June 2011. Then continues to US Embassy for an interview on August 2011. And fortunately got my Visa 3 days after interview.
Now, here I am. I arrived in USA on Sept 2011. So grateful to be reunited with my husband again. Hopefully for the rest of our life, never be separated again.
my husband just called also nvc today and she answered, it need to wait also 20 days from the date i sent may 27...coz i think they not review yet my documents i sent, so i think we need to wait 20 days.
got also cover letter same as yours even i sent already the documents , now that we sent already then they dont review yet then they keep asking... i dont understand them
yes, we have to wait at leat 20 days for the NVC to reviewed our documents. I keep checking too in the Automated Voice Record and also try to sign in and hope sign in fail soon, it means the case is close/finished.
