This morning I received my EAD card, along the bottom is reads : serves as I-512 advance parole.
I presume this is my AP.
My question, does this override everything? I'm a current f1 student. I'm enrolled in 12 hours this semester. My visa in my passport expired due to a mistake from my last international advisor. My I-20 has the correct date and doesn't expire until 2014.
Advise please. I want to travel to England for a week tomorrow.
Thanks

Hey, I know I've already mentioned this in another post but I wanted to focus on this specifically. My EAD is in it's way to me. It will be delivered to me wed. I have my tracking number and I have checked it. Is my AP with this? Is it on my EAD?Please someone who knows for sure comment. The reason it's so important is because I want travel back home for a week. This is a very important week for me to be home.
On the uscis website my EAD is being delivered. My AP hasn't changed from initial review. My interview is on the 19th. My i130 is the same as my AP on initial review.
Please help.
Thanks

I have not been home for 4 years. This is due to multiple reasons. Financial the leading one. My EAD is being produced and I am hoping it comes this week. I think the chances are pretty slim though.

Thanks again, that sounds a little to risky for me. I will just have to wait and see, maybe it will be here by next week.

Thanks for that link. Kansas field office came up after entering my zip code. So I'm happy to assume its there for now. I know my letter will have all the details but I'm trying to arrange my interview around my internship today with my supervisor as I'm going to be in Florida and I will need to fly back and fourth from Kansas. If I call the USCIS will they provide me with all the details or just tell me to wait for the letter?
Concerning the EAD\AP I'm at the card production stage, I'm assuming that it will take a few weeks to get here, which will cancel any trip I planned on having back home. I needed it by next week. Is there anything I can do to get some kind of documentation in place of the actual card that will allow me to travel as I've already been approved for it. Basically my EAD will be a few weeks late from what I was hoping.
Thanks for the feedback btw

Thanks, so you think it might be in Kansas City. I would like to know so I can schedule it with my internship so they can plan for me not being there for a few days.

Hello,
My interview has been scheduled for September 19. I live in Kansas with my wife. I start an internship in Florida September 4th I haven't received my appointment letter with all the interview details it should be here Monday. I need to figure my plans and where my interview is so I can fly back in good time. How can I find out where my interview is? Would it be in Kansas City? Is there an indication somewhere, or should I just call.
Also, my interview has been scheduled, my EAD is in it's way to me. I'm waiting for AP, I wanted to squeeze in a trip home before September 4th roles around. Any idea or experience why there is little progress compared to i485 and EAD?
Thank you
Kansas City is where I went for biometrics FYI

Will that slow down the process any or might have it already done so?

Hello.
Checking the online status of my AP/EAD this morning. They both say : On August 12, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I131, APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.
I have not called them to change an address. I live in the same place as i do when I sent in the AOS package in June.
Any experience with this?

Hello everyone. I've posted on here a few times during my AOS application process. The next step is our interview, I got conformation of this from their website. Just waiting for an appointment date in the post.
I was hoping if anyone would like to help better prepare us for this.
I'm from the UK my wife is from MO. I came here in an f1. We met during my 3rd semester here so AUG 2010. We've lived together since AUG 2011. Engaged summer 2012 and married FEB 2013. She has met my parents when they visited me in summer 2011. I'm very close with her family. We've shared a bank account for the past two years. Very happy and in love. If there's anything else you would like to know please ask.
Thanks

Thank you. Do you know Has this delayed my application any (put back in the pecking order), or just the time it takes me to send in the documents?
-
The biggest mistake I made was not doing an exact replica, I'm regretting that now. Do you think I should just send in another form filled out by my wife and step dad with supporting tax documentation? Would that be the safest bet?
Does the fact that they say "petitioner/sponsor on I-130" which is my wife they mean her and I might have mistaken to put in her I-864?
-
This morning I received a yellow letter from the USCIS.
Request for initial evidence (I-485)
Stating:
"Form I-864 affidavit of support was summited; however, it was not from the petitioner/sponsor.
This confused me because my application to my knowledge included an I-864 filled in by my wife (petitioner) and a separate one from her dad (sponsor) under that first line it goes on to say:
"Please submit a completed and signed form I-864 for the petitioner/sponsor listed on form I-130.
So is this referring to my wife as she is on our I-130? I was assured I sent a I-864 filled in by her though!
The RFE also asks for:
"The joint sponsor on I-864 , affidavit of support, must submit all supporting tax documentation.
So my question is, does this refer to my wife's dad? Again I was assured we had sent in his latest tax return.
Lastly my wife's mom sent in a I-864a might the above refer to her or would they have stated form I-864a in the letter?
I am in need of guidance,
Thank you

is that to be sent away in the AOS package or is this for the interview?

Came as a F1 student 2009- met girlfriend 2010- married 2013, i think i should have painless AOS process but who knows. I just wanted to ask what proof of relationship should i include in my package. I have 3 separate leases, joint bank account, obviously our marriage certificate and all relevant documents i.e passports-birth certificates. What else should i put in. pics cards from each other?

Does my mother in law (sponser) combine her and her husbands (fatherlaw) income. They are married and live together and obviously thier income goes into one household.
-
Thank you!
any adivse on my eailer post below?
-
Me and my wife are in collage she will not meet the requirements for the affidavit of support. Her mom has already agrred to sponser. So my question is who fills out the I-864? Do they do one each? or just her mom?

Also what about the "date authorized stay expired, or will expire, as shown on form i-94" the only date on the i-94 is birday and stamp with entry date last entered the country which was from a trip back home jan 2010.

What do i put in for question 14?
My husband arrived as a F1 Student july 2009. I dont know what to put in the arrival departure record? (i-94) the only numbers that i can seem to fit in the gaps is his i-94 number!
also next to it it says date arrived, is that jul 2009 when he first came. Or the date he last went through customs, like comming back from a vist home?

Please can some advise! My status as of now is a F1 student. Im in my senior year. I married my long term girlfriend who is an ameicican citezen earlier this month. I have been accepted in to a Internship for this summer. My query is: my international advisor has told me i can apply for pre-graduation optimal training (i graduate in december2013) so i can obtain my EAD card before the summer. I also have been accepteded into the same internship for the fall 2013, if i apply for AOS (green card) during the summer and send of another EAD aplication in the package but under a different catagory will it be rejected because of my first EAD. Does this make sense? please if you have any questions let me know. Thanks

Thank you for your help. So on returning to America when going through immigration and the officer asks me why I'm coming to America do I say I'm f1 going through AOS. How does that work?
