Had my interview in Montreal on Tuesday...just received an email from DHL tonight saying that my passport has been picked up!!
Hopefully will have it in hand in the next few days!!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your responses. On my "Vaccination Worksheet" the following are checked off:
"Application may be eligible for blanket waiver as indicated above"
and
"Applicant may be eligible for blanket waivers because vaccinations not medically appropriate (as indicated above)" are checked off.
Also, for the Td vaccine, "insufficient time interval" is marked.
What does this mean for my AOS application? Do I need the I-693 transcribed or just send in the Vaccination Worksheet?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I'm starting to look at the next set of forms for AOS after a K1 visa and had a question regarding the I-693 form.
For anyone who had their medical done in Canada, do we need to still go to a Civil Surgeon in the US to have this filled out? On the AOS guide it says that the I-693 has to be filled out if the DS-3025 was marked incomplete - how do we find this out? and which is the DS-3025 form? (was it the vaccination sheet that was NOT in the sealed medical envelope?)
Thanks in advance!

It seems like some early dates are showing up! I snagged one for August 11th, right now the website says August 30th. Hope you're all fast clickers!
Thanks for the heads up! Just logged on and rescheduled for Aug 30th...from Sept 8th...not a huge difference but still!
-
There was one other August appt available when I grabbed the 30th.....there were lots in September.
Did you pay the MRV fee upfront or bypass it? There a few members on here that are trying to figure out if you can only see the calendar again and additional if you bypass the fee payment.
Thanks!

Still no available appointments...what gives?
(I chose the Permanently Immigrate - K1 visa option and paid upfront)
-
That's what I selected too and I can't see these dates, so selecting the option that lets you skip payment may, in fact, be what's showing appointments for some people but not others. *sigh*
Same here...I figured I'd pay now to avoid an extra thing to worry about the day of the interview...but no new dates available except a Sept. 26 that was on for 2 seconds...... How about some earlier dates?!

I wonder if those available dates are only for people with CR-1 visas?
I was wondering the same thing! I last saw appointments available for late September but that was over the weekend. Since then even after refreshing several times a day all I see is "There are currently no available appointments for your trip purpose".
Anyone else have any luck?

Same here....I haven't seen any any available appointments for days..
-
I've been continuously logged on and trying to reschedule for the past 3 days and I missed that??!!
-
Hi everyone,
Just a quick question:
How do you see when the next available appointment is to see if there are earlier dates? Keep on refreshing "Current Appointment Details" page which has the : "Note: The next available appointment for your trip purpose at this moment is:xxxx"
Is there a way to see the calendar again without cancelling your current appointment?
Thanks!

Hi all,
I just finished filling out my DS-160 and successfully printed out the confirmation page. When I tried to print the application, only 3 pages would print and then when I log back in to retry in IE the button to print the application is greyed out. Am I in trouble??
Also, I am currently visiting my fiance in the US - can I send back packet 3 from here? or does it have to be sent from within Canada? I will be using DHL.
Thanks!
-
O wow!
I THINK I was able to track my package from NVC to MTL and if the method works it looks like it got there pretty fast as they seem to be using DHL.
The operators have told me: Not there yet, it's at NVC, it's there they just haven't logged it in yet, so I'm not sure anymore, I just want my P3 and my P4 and my interview.
I think we are all in the same boat! Maybe it arrived but just wasn't logged yet? *crosses fingers*
Our turn will come soon to book for the interview!

Yes!
There was a previous thread about how to navigate through the DOS and talk to a live operator.
-
I've been calling the DOS and speaking to an operator each time - they will ask for your case number. I just called right now and the operator mentioned that it could take up to 1 month for the case to be transferred from the NVC to the embassy because of the shipment method they use (extra secure but extra slow) BUT I have seen from other timelines that it only took about 2 weeks for Montreal to receive the case from NVC and subsequently send out pk 3. It is definitely frustrating!
-
Anyone know how long it takes for the Montreal Consulate to receive and send out packet 3?
My case was sent out by NVC on the May 3rd and I have been calling DOS everyday for the past few days and they say that it is still not received yet by Montreal....
Thanks

Hi,
Quick question as I am also at the point of preparing packet 3. For the checklist for the Montreal Consulate, on the list is Evidence of Support I-864 form - do we also need to fill this out and bring to the interview?
Sorry if this has been answered before!
-
A police certificate from a private agency like Commissionaires etc. would be accepted as well? Sorry, seems to be a silly question but I haven't seen many people state that they used a 3rd party agency. Just wanted to make sure! I'd go with the faster option myself!
Thanks again!

Hello VJers,
I've been lurking in the forums for awhile now and all the information posted here has been such a great help throughout the waiting process! We are finally now waiting for our file to be sent to the Montreal Consulate and I would like to know if anyone has tried applying for a police clearance letter using the online system from the Toronto Police service? (http://www.torontopolice.on.ca/recordsmanagement/clearance.php) and if anyone knows how long it would take to receive one? I'm in the US visiting the fiance and so want to time everything right for the interview.
Thanks!
October 2011 AOS Filers!
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

Hello everyone!
I am also an October filer. Received my NOA1 on Oct 7th - completed biometrics on Nov 1st. I have not heard anything regarding my case, no transfer to CSC etc. Called USCIS last week and there are no updates whatsoever on my case. I am coming from a K1 visa - is this normal?
