(PRISM) for your pre-departure seminar (cost - 250 pesos). After that, you'll have to bring your passport with visa to the Commission on Filipinos Overseas to get your emigration stamp (cost - 400 pesos).

had the interview Friday at the usem and we got approved!!! i'm sure it really helped i was there for the interview, but i think even if i wanst she'd have been just fine. it was fast too.... we were only interviewed for maybe 3-4 minutes and then she told us congrats and good luck and wait for the visa to arrive. didnt ask for any pics, chat/phone records, paycheck stubs, tax forms, ect... hopefully we get the visa this week while i'm still here cause if so, she'll be coming back with me.

hopefully a few more will get interview's and approvals this week or next, cause this is a stressful process that shouldnt feel like waiting for the next Haley's comet.

First call the NVC and ask when your case was sent out.

Press 5 for an operator

Then...

If you go to the DHL website, type in this format into the tracking reference: EXP 27 SEP 2011A < but put in the date that your case was sent out. Mine was sent out on Sept 27.

Then this way you can see it traveling! Which, mine was signed for at the embassy by TETPORN at 10:34AM today. Yay!

Also, Ice just sent packet 3 today too. Should get there on Monday. I hope they can put it together with our case ASAP.

Hey all... It's been a while since i've posted on this thread. Got some good news! We were approved on 9/6 but wasn't aware because i haven't been checking email frequently since we've been together since 9/3 (first in the phillipines and now vacationing in thailand.) Gooooooooooooooo VSC!!!!!! Wishing all you may filers a speedy and smooth approval process as well!

I used to work in a call center so I really don't miss him a lot (he was my bf that time) since we have an opposite time. AM here and PM there and vice versa.

I was all confident that I can get through all this bureaucratic process without any feeling of frustration. But I was totally wrong. After we got married, we had 2 days honeymoon only (that sucks) because of limited leave. Then it all begun, 2 days after he was in US, i started feeling empty. I CERTAINLY CAN'T HANDLE BEING ALONE ANYMORE. Its different when you barely got married and he suddenly left. I was crying all night and day. I cant even concentrate at work due to my depression. He made me stop work and stay at home. Things got worst because I am left with nothing to do but watch tv and surf the net.

I coping mechanism to this boredom and depression is my family. I talk to them and laugh with them. I take them out to eat and spend the day off. At the end of the day, it's him that I am thinking again. This whole process is killing both of us. We argue about non-sense things like hushbrowns, ATM not ATM Machine coz it's redundant, not saying good morning on the onset of the call, not saying I love you in the most sweetest way at the end of the call, static line and all sorts of small things on earth. Out of frustrations, most of the time we argue. We know we love each other so much and we cant afford to lose one another.

Crying on the phone helps me release the tension and the frustration off our heads. We talked on yahoo messenger and on facebook and we plan our future together. Planning ahead makes us forget that we're thousand of miles apart for awhile. And at the end of the day, it's still the love we're sharing that grows stronger throughout this rough time.

Hello Everyone!! I sent my application on the 20 May 2011 and it arrival at the Dallas lockbox on the 23. I'm waiting for my NOA1!! I'm pretting much sick to my stomach from the anxiety. I have been working on the packet for a while now cause I over analyze everything. If I would have sent it in when I started putting together the application, I would have my NOA2 by :-(

i'm sooooo anxious and freaking out! my fiance sent the package on the 17th, but he forgot to do it certified mail, so we don't have a tracking number!! i have no idea if they already received it or not!! i assume they did, cuz it's been 8 days now, but so far, no txt, no email, no sign of NOA1 whatsoever!!! i'm very nervous and afraid! i really hope we receive something soon =/ haven't slept in 2 days worried sick about it!

give it a little time. from what i've seen on other members signatures with their status, it can be a couple of days to a week before an sms or email arrives. don't worry, it'll come soon

Yeah I have verification that they cashed my check via my bank but still no NOA1 and it is almost 4 business days since the check was cashed. Hope it comes soon...in the mean time I will go and play some soccer and call the wife to get it off my mind.

How did you meet your fiance or fiancee?

For me, it was in my first year of college and he was a study abroad student from Thailand. We were in the same international awareness club. I liked those types of groups because I am half-filipino.

Niing, what a great idea! We met online back in the summer of 2009 and started out as good friends. From there things kept progressing until we officially became a couple in early 2010. Traveled out to the Philippines 4 times, am planning for a 5th trip this August/September and hoping that the 6th is where we travel to the states together!!!

For now, we have the old school way of communicating- Skype & YM

Received the Noa1 in the mail today.

We sent our package out on the 11th. It arrived in Texas on the 13th. Received the confimation email on the 18th

Someone had their 5th check cashed and still nothing? That seems quite suspicious! Hope they've been trying to track down who or what is causing that. That's just plain fishy!
