Hi I got approved today to. Filed Feb25th and approval on May 31st

  3. NOA1 received 4 Feb 2011 at the California Service Center. NOA2 received 27 May 2011. Paperwork enroute to NVC. The processing time is 5 months. Ours took just under 4 months. No RFE's or anything. So for all of you thinking of hiring an attorney I would recommend against it. I just made a check list based on all the documents needed and went over it 3 times before I mailed it in. An attorney was going to cost more than airfare and I still had to pay the fees as well. I found the USCIS people to be polite, professional, and helpful when I called.

My wife and I are so excited now. The hard part is over. I am just waiting to pay the AOS and visa fees then we should be all set for her interview.

Hi I got approved to. I filed Feb 25th. NOA1 on Feb 28th text message today for approval 05/31/11

    Congrats

  4. Hello everyone at VJ. Today as I was driving home from work got a text message from USCIS. I was scared, I thought they sent me an RFE. Because after Sending my I130 I was going through the the copies and saw that i forgot to put my wifes last name. So I was thinking that was it. As soon as I got home went on USCIS website and typed my recipt number. Woohooo It said your I 130 petition for alien relative has been approved. I was so happy.

I thank all the support and info I got from the good people at VJ.

I wish good luck to all in in getting there approvals soon.

    Thank you

  5. Hi to all at VJ. I am new here, I hope somebody can shine some light on my situation. I filled I 130 for my spouse who is out of us. And the question is that I have a criminal record from 11 years ago for theft. I was convicted of misdamemor for the crime but the judge orderd me if I compelete a course and pay the fine the case will be dismissed and thats what i did. So now When filing the I 130 it does not ask for criminal record. I am worried if this 11 year old case will have any impact on my spouse and me being the petitioner with the criminal record. Thanks you
