We finally got our AOS interview for October 6th. We haven't gotten the written notice but the email notification says "On September 1, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for October 6, 2011, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER." Where is NBC? I think our interview will be at our local USCIS office, right? Is this just a standard response?

Congratulation! Yes. I also confused when I received the notice via txt/email. But the letter by mail will indicate your local office. Good luck!!!

Thank you! Before my interview I read other people's interview experiences, specifically for my local USCIS office (Albany, NY). My interview went exactly the way as others described. So, it's better if you can check the interview experience for your local office!

Thanks! It was easy and relaxed! Officer asked us about history of our relationship. Then he went through all of our paper works (forms) to see every information is correct. Yesterday I received TXT/EMAIL for Card Production!

I had my interview yesterday in Albany, NY. My interview went well and exactly the way how it's described here in this thread. So I am so glad that I read this thread before my interview. So I truly appreciate that people post their interview experience here! Thank you very much. Now I'm waiting for my card!!!

Interview was completed yesterday. I was approved but am still waiting for an email/txt message for the card production.

Just received TEXT/EMAIL messages for Interview Appointment 8/22/2011. Today is my birthday! Wonderful gift!!!

I just came back from Biometrics in Albany,NY office. My appointment was 7/25/2011. I went to the office around 1:45 PM. Security officers and lady who took my fingerprints and photo were extremely nice! It took less than 10 min. I had a little cut on my finger, but it was no problem.

By looking at other people's time line, I am not sure if early biometics can speed up the process.
